Ok.
How on earth do u destroy a ship, pod the guy, AND, not blow up the container??.
The only way i see of podding some1 now, is if u send tons of missiles to the target to try and splash pop the pod, cause no way will u lock him now before he warps out, now that target times have been changed.
Im thinking we need to make containers 10000 dmg, i have NEVER got any loot after podding some1.
What ya all think?.

we kill pirates with bounties, pretty much all we do, we dont make alot of isk, sooooooooooooo, getting loot would help us out alot, bounties are ok, but getting even some cruise would b good.
i just dont see a way to pod and save the container.
Oh, and what do i pod them with, harsh language , my 2 f90s dont lock him before he warps, so think before u reply about things u know nothing of, miner .

Destroyed a couple of CA BB's in Catch with my Caracal yesterday but still managed to take the loot.
I prefer leaving them unpodded though because it's a slow and tense journey home 
The only time I dont care about the can is when I'm taking out CA indies - our target is to destroy the pod, te can, and the ship.
For obvious reasons.

uhm maybe use gun turrets ?
EM torps / cruise to start and finish off with cannons ?

The problem was that there was no time to target the pod before it could warp out, hence turrets are not an option.

LOL, switch u always give me a laugh, thanks man, dont u have to lock to use turrets , maybe ur 5 year old bro answered in your place, if thats the case i apologise.
My main aim is to pod bad men, the loot would b nice, i really dont know how u rats do it, my mom could prob warp my pod away in time if u were using guns.

Because they have to be targetted just as anything else you wish to shoot at in this game with turrets?
Darth Solo is a bountyhunter - he wants to make cash by shooting the pod. Castor has made that very hard since the pod usually goes away unless he uses missles, in which case the pod often goes boom because of splash damage which had nothing to do with targetting speeds.
Wanting to destroy a pod with turrets? Lock times become involved...

Thanks nightfang, some1 gets it.
CCp need to make it more profitable, its either kill the pod and get the bounty, but dont get the loot, or get the loot but no bounty.
Just thought id bring it up, i really do think bounty hunting should b more worthwile, its risk v reward. and the reward is very little.
Im just hoping CCP read these posts, its maybe worth looking into.

shumbody shtop meh.
use a frig to hold it theres a certain amount of client to server lag and Invulv time but u can do it if you B N Q it.
you can pop a pod with 1 volley from a rifter easy. 280mm EMP 10km "Teh lord of Nonni"

Erm seriously, the trouble is that you can't target pods that already warped out, hence you can't use turrets

Keep a frigate apprentice with you there for the actual podlock and kill darth but then of course that would negate the solo part...

They have re-increased cargo container HP back up to 500 (or so), so they can actually survive 2 stray torpedoes while the pod can not.
They set cargo HP to 500 ages ago, but in some patch it got lost and became more like 250, which was quite gay as a single stray cruise missile would take out everything.
Your 425mm Prototype I Gauss Gun perfectly strikes some nublar, wrecking for 1155.0 damage. |

I think it should remain as it is - you have the option to pod and risk the loot or to leave the pod and keep the loot.
