I'm trying to find a good pvp-fitting fom my apoc, but i'm quite new to the game so i'm not sure how it will work. So here is my fitting, please tell me what u think. Hight slots: 2x heavy missile launcher 1 2x large sized neutron blasters 2x large dual 250 mm railgun 1x large 425 mm railgun 1x heavy "knave" nos Med slots: 1x large shield-extender,whith i dont remember the name on 1x webber 1x 100 mn afterburner(will replace whith an mwd as soon as my skil is up) 1 slot emty for now
lowslots containing one targeter-help-device and some other "stuff" rig-slots:empty
i think i need faster tracking for smaller ships.

no that's not very good, but we are all new to the game at some point. what are your skills like and what are you trying to do?
Apoc is a ship which suits large lasers and an armor tank, it's best to keep all the same sized guns fitted for the same range.
lastly if you have under 10m SP's the apoc is a ship you probably should not be PvPing in. ---------------------- Rank: Tech 1 and a 1/2 cannon fodder

Try not to overdo the mixing of weapons, else the foe will allways find a range where he has more guns able to reply than you, and you will have a hard time getting your optimal.
To be honest, if you are new to pvP, I'd advise you to start with somewhat cheaper ships than an apoc. Say, an Omen or Maller cruiser, or even frigates like the executioner for tackling or the punisher (wich is, with good skills, an awesome PvP frig).
My suggestion: 2 heavy nos to drain the hostile, and 6 megapulsers. against tackler frigs, you have your drones and the web
Ditch the shield extender, the apoc is an armor tanker pure and pure.
In medium, the webber and ab are fine, in unsecure you will need the mwd to escape bubbles, in lowsec you need the cap more. Fill the empty slot with a cap injector, or cap recharger if you can nos the foe. Put a 20 km scram into teh shield extender slot.
In teh lows: at least one LAr, one MAr, or maybe even 2 LAr if your cap skills can support it. resistances for Tank, 1600 mm plates, and cap relays to give you the cap you need with the apoc.
Should be something for tanking at close range.
for fleet battles, the fit is: Tachyons in high Sendor boosters, MWD and cap injector in med tracking enhancers, heat sinks, sensor enhancer in low to eget the range. Maybe a plate if you can fit it on. Tanking is done by warping out.
I hope this helps. A good fleet fit with T2 will cost 100 mill+, and the apoc. Be ready to pay for this. don#t fly what you can't afford to loose.

Not a good mix of mods, but don't worry, I remember fitting my Vexor (Drone Frigate) with small lasers, and a shield tank.
Here's a simple setup to look at if you wanna do some light PvE to get used to how the ship handles, and responds in mock-combat.
High:
6 Megabeam 2 Medium Beam
Med:
3 Cap Recharger 1 Named Web
Low:
2 Large Amour Repairer 3 Hardener 2 Cap Relay
------------------- My opinions (ie, all of my posting here) are not my corporations. Nor should it be taken as such. |

Everything You Wanted to Know About the Apoc
That link is a year old but still worth a read. Despite its age I think it will largely hold up today (might even be spot on still).
Think this is the first I've heard of fitting rails on an Apoc though (rails are CPU hungry and the Apoc is CPU limited...better in the powergrid department).

I shieldtanked my thorax . But damn man thats a bad apoc setup. 1 word of advice. Dont fly a ship with low sp, especially went you dont have a clue how to fit em. If you know how to fit bs, the only bs you can fly with low sp is the raven. But well caldari is for noobs _________________________________________________ Breetime
