I have been in eve for years now and a while back it got a bit tough for me and I resorted to scamming people.
Its been a while and I really am trying to reform myself.
I needed some isk and though about the contract bpo/bpc scam and how I could easily makes billions.
basicaly have them put a buy order for a cerberus blueprint and I would fill it witha bpc.
The time came for me to make a deal with someone , I had there ISK in the palm of my hand, was a very nice and trusting person to.
I then told told them I got a better offer and logged...
I just couldn't get myself to do it, ive scammed so many people in the past, yet this time I felt overwhelming guilt and I backed out
I'm still confused as to whether i did a good thing, a bad thing a stupid thing or a mixture of all three.

Maybe you should go to church and confess your sins.
But then again why feel guilty.

A truly great thief wouldn't need to makes posts about their exploits. People would make the posts for him.

Scamming is just the piracy of a smooth businessman. I think the only thing you can do in this game that won't affect someone else negatively is missioning. With mining, you're stealing asteroids other people might want!
As for reforming yourself, why not? Change is always good.

You hit the proverbial nail on its stupid proverbial head.
To get ahead in EVE, you have to step on someone somehow. Pirates just use Pulse lasers instead of Strip Miners to do it.
