I like the new radar, however it has a couple of bugs. In the settings menu, it seems the States and Types columns are related. While in types, I have selected to activate when a ship targets me, shoots at me, has a negative standing, etc. In the Types tab, if ship is selected, ever ship within my radar range pops up as a red target now, even if they don't meet my criteria for a threat that I've setup. If I turn off the ship option, then no ship EVER appears on my radar box. Think this option needs some more attention.

Actually, I used to have a very small and plain sig, but they said it exceeded the size limitation. This sig is actually a very small file, but there are no size controls with the sig display. Plenty others with fabulous sigs that I know exceeded my own file size, so... friggit.

it isn't file size that matters, it's how big it appears on the screen.

700K is not small!

Getting back to the original topic, the default mark in the scanner is red. So don't think that any red mark is a threat. You can configure this mark in the states tab. A number of colors and blinking can be set.
If you don't do this, the only way to tell what a mark means is to notice which column it is in (the column is based on the order in the states config tab), or use a tooltip when you mouse over it.
