I have begun to organize efforts on behalf of the Servant Sisters of EVE to gather donations of medicine, food and supplies intended to alleviate the situation in the Sivala, Yashunen and Iivinen star systems. These are hard times for the children in those systems and our purpose here is to counter the incredibly severe conditions that they now find themselves in.
We are making this plea to the capsuleer community at large in an effort to garnish more help with donations. So far the donations have been tremendous but we will need more if we are to provide enough aid for the children.
The members of the capsuleer community that wish to pledge their support can do so by bringing donations of food, medicine and relief supplies to the Luminaire VII - Moon 4 - Federal Administration Bureau Offices station. I will accept the donations personally if I am able to, otherwise they can be delivered to me by the Contract system for collection.
I wish to thank the generosity of all the pilots that have offered donations so far and to all of the pilots that are planning on making a donation. It is through your kindness and compassion that the universe is made a better place.

After all, while (as far as I know) the Sisters of EVE claim neutrality it's no secret that their sympathies lie with the Gallente Federation. It could be seen as yet another propaganda coup attempting to capitalise on Caldari scandals.
If the Caldari state (or technically any of the involved Megacorps) desire relief efforts (public or covert) I'm sure they will make it known through appropriate channels. ______________________________________________ -You can never earn my respect, only lose it. I would hope that the more trigger happy Caldari would hold their fire (and their mercs) to allow a convoy from a well known humanitarian organization pass through unharmed. If the State sees fit to assault the convoy all the spin doctoring in the cluster won't stop the fallout that would ensue.
Anyway, I pledge a Mammoth full of food, medical supplies, and purified water. -----------------------------

As I speak to you now the Veto Corp transport vessel "✖ Excalibur", a Charon Class freighter, is making steady progress across a route from the depths of Lonetrek toward Luminaire packing to the brim with Antibiotics, Frozen food, Dairy Products, Protein Delicacies, Wheat, Quafe, Water and Zemnar along the way.
As a representitive for Mr. Ethan Verone and the rest of the Veto Corp roster, I will continue to fly back and forth to core empire systems and refill the cargohold with further supplies, stockpiling our corporate hangar in Luminaire until I can hand the supplies to you and the need for food and water is quenched.
If any other parties would like to donate to the cause and are unable to haul goods to Luminaire, please do not hesitate to Eve Mail myself, or Veto Corp chief executive Verone for free transport from any high security system.

Sister,
In view of the recent past I fear that this is a fool's errand. I'm speaking of course of the terrible Kassiginen incident.
Every Caldari on the net is screaming that this whole thing is a baseless lie. Or that it's an excuse for the Federation to meddle with the Caldari frontier. If they conceed that there is any issue at all they all say it's being dealt with internally and additional resources are not requested, required, or wanted.
From the tone I've seen displayed on the nets there are many Caldari that are searching for an excuse, any excuse, to set off their aggressive tendancies. They will attack the convoy, and their excuses will be dubious and varied. There were be too many escorts, or the 'escorts' were to powerful so it must have been an invasion fleet, or the escorts are from the wrong groups, or personnel assigned to ensure the safety and security of the planetside operation were actually there to invade it. Or any other manner of illogical tripe.
These are your ships, and your crews, not mine. However in view of Caldari paranoia and the very public history regarding past mercy convoys may I suggest that you simply stockpile supplies at the closest Sisters of Eve station and let the Caldari mega-corps involved know that resources exist for them to draw on should they so choose to, and leave it at that? -----

Ironically, the people who destroyed the Federation Navy group in Kassigainen are people contributing to this plea for aid.
There is a difference between the SOE bringing an aid convoy, and the Federation Navy bringing an "Aid" convoy, that happens to contain an assignment of marines.

This is very good advice, and I pray that it is followed.
For those who are donating aid to the Sisters, I'm sure many of you are doing so with good intentions (though many are, of course, taking cynical advantage of this unpleasantness to take jabs at the State). I would ask you, however, to bear in mind the many inaccuracies in the initial report, as well as the fact that even the Scope's biased reporting acknowledges that these incidents are under investigation and are already being addressed by the proper authorities.
It's admirable that you show such compassion for Caldari children, but, to the extent that the reports are even true, this is undoubtedly the result of a bureaucratic oversight or a few corrupt officials who will be dealt with as part of the normal investigative process, and not due to a lack of resources. I strongly suggest that those of you with a surplus of food or other aid items direct them instead to those who actually need them, such as impoversihed residents of Placid or the beleaguered Republic.

And in the meantime, quick market check around Sivala, Yashunen and Iivinen systems shows the price of food and water futures dropping sharply in anticipation of relief convoys (which may never materialize), forcing local farmers to sell their produce at a loss and supply transporters to divert or cancel planned shipments.
So, because of two-minute video of suspicious origin, irresponsible reporting by The Scope and knee-jerk reaction of the public, delicate balance in local economy is disrupted, causing real hardship to actual working people in the sector. Once again, emotions and sensationalism prevails over rationality. Well done, Scope.

Mr Derrys i find it very amusing that while the Caldari people keep yelling this is an internal matter and your help or suggestions are not needed, at the very same time you stick your nose in the affairs of other nations.
You need to get a single standard for all, and not do what suits you best.
Other than that the aid is given to Sisters of EVE, where it can be either transported to the said location, or used in other places where it's needed. For me and my corporation the donation was just a helping hand with nothing else hiding beneath it. Whether the Caldari children take it or anyone else who is in need take it, is a decision that the Sisters will make. We just provided supplies for anyone who needs them.
But to have the Caldari Megacorps manage the aid supplies is leaving me a little frightened. The reason is that these children and young ones are (from what i have gathered from the news) in a poor health state and the possibilities are that they won't manage to return to a good health, as to provide labor. I fear the choice that MAY be made and the reasoning behind it.
I surely hope that if that decision is to be made by the CEP, i will be proved wrong.

Finally, in the event that any of these children require temporary relocation, for instance in the case of overcrowding, I would be happy to open the doors of a New Life facility to house them until proper care could be provided in Caldari space. I grew up in the state and i would give my life defending it, infact most Caldari here would, seems odds since all caldari children are so mistreated.
We saw gallente charity and mercy before at Kassigien where they sent their own marines to die and not even acknowledge their presence. What has the Federation done for the families of those men and women? The answer is Nothing. WE have not heard one plea even for the release of those captured, not even from such an esteemed news organisation as the Scope. That is the loyalty of the Federation send men to die for their cause then show none of the charity they expect from all other nations to their own servicemen.
Ill tell you this the Caldari will rise up and send any more attempts at that brand of Gallente mercy back over the board. Tread lightly and with care SSOE do not become the pawns of that uncaring government.

A typical kneejerk reaction. You care not about the children or their suffering, and simply try and create discord with the Federation. The Sisters are completely independant, they answer to no government and go wherever they please, helping any and all they come across. Is this such a strange concept to people inside the State, where men will backstab other men over a profit margin, that they cannot understand this, and look for Federal conspiracies everywhere?
It seems to me that even in their darkest hours, many of these so called Caldari Nationalists are trying to ignite a war. Perhaps you're looking for a way to cover up the issues happening inside the State? You wouldn't be the first nation to take the spotlight off internal issues in this way.

From the time you all even became aware that there was a problem, the problem had already been resolved. There are no children for you to save. The only thing your freighters will find is a bunch of now defunct and abandoned facilities.

All I have heard from Gallente supporters is the desire to see the Caldari fail and to foment rebellion in a nation at peice. Note, I have no now way Mr. Vitesse advocated war or an invasion of the Federation instead, If the Feds decided to come over the boarder with an illegal military cargo with dubious intent, it should be stent packing with a zealous defence.
The Caldari State and her corporations protect their servicemen by not sending them in illegal actions and leaving them in the lurch.
Furthermore, the you dont see the Caldari State sending military missions into Federation space to stop Gallente tourists from going to drug supermarkets which will harm them or stopping the countless abductions going on in the secret slave trade in Gallente Pleasure hubs. The least (and most) a Gallentean can do is mind their own affairs.
The problem, if there was any problem to begin with, concerned a few facilities on the fringe of our sovereign territories. If you are here just to feed children in general, then I'll return your question to you.
Have the Gallenteans run out of children to feed, too?

There are times when I wish we Intaki stayed out of Caldari affairs. It would have saved the Intaki people a lot of grief, from both the Federation that exiled a large contingent, to the Caldari xenophobes that drove the Intaki, who fought with the State against the Federation, off Kamokor IV.
So, I'll just politely ask you to stuff it, and reign in your xenophobic tendencies for a bit. My people, especially those that are on good terms with the State, have earned the right to intervene.
Which I will be, independently of my corp, because I'm the closest thing to a humanitarian that bunch of bloodthirsty bastards has.

Wait, wait.. What?!? How one "earns the right to intervene" in affairs of a sovereign entity? Is there a certain number of "points" one accumulates, before one just enters corporate property and does whatever he wants? Is that some sort of Intaki tradition? ILet me tell you about Intaki traditions and Caldari "xenophobia".
During Waschi uprising Muryia Mordu fought his own people to help Intaki settle in Caldari Space. Vremaja Idama has politely asked for Caldari paramilitaries to visit Placid to help with security and economic development. You barge in, uninvited, because of some "earned right"?!?
I think you've just lost any respect not only from Caldari, but from Intaki as well. Try not to hang around Gallente too much, it seems to show.

By spilling blood for them, naturally.

You don't know your own history. The Intaki were granted that settlement by the Caldari for the Intaki who assisted the State in their war with the Federation. Later, Caldari radicals, in a fit of xenophobia sought to expel all foreigners including those Intaki that fought FOR THEM. The Intaki appealed to their former commander, who was regretful out of Navy service at the time. The mercenary company formed, ALONG WITH THE CALDARI NAVY suppressed the radicals. Later the Legion was asked to join the Navy formally.
I have first hand experience in the matter. Reborn isn't some silly religious title. I've paid my due for the State.

Really? Being pro-Caldari indicates hanging around the Gallente too long? Quit using Drop, it's clearly screwing with your head.

The Federation thought it had "earned the right to intervene" as well. They discovered otherwise.
The lesson of history is clear: we determine who has earned any rights when it comes to our sovereignty.

This goes beyond racial and national boundaries, and the xenophobic tendencies that surround them. This goes toward the issue of who has the right and power to meddle in the affairs of the State.
Let's make this clear. Neither you nor any outsiders have been conferred any right to intervene in State affairs. Never mind the foreign nationals, even we Caldari citizens cannot intervene as we please simply because we are Caldari citizens.
Rights and powers in the State are conferred from the top down, not from the bottom up. If the authorities deem that the issue will be handled a certain way, then that is the way it will be handled. There is no questioning it. There is no second-guessing it. There is no displacing it.
The only way to change the way the State is run is to be in a position that runs the State.

Ms. Contasia I have heard through channels from you that Sisters believe the problem to be as wide as 50 cretches, not the seven originally reported. While I simply think this is gross propoganda and you shouldn't worry yourselves with our affairs, I assume as a civillian convoy you will not be bringing any undo of Federation military escort through what unless the you believe the Federation's propoganda safe Caldari Space, patrolled not just by our own Navy but with the police forces of Concord aswell.

My dearest sister:
Upon recently receiving my pod pilots rating, I chose to dedicate myself to the people of EvE. Be they Caldari, Amarrian, Minmatar, or a fellow Gallente.
The Sisters of EvE have personified humanity. Please accept my humble gift upon my return to Luminare.

Would the Sisters Of Eve be kind enough to furnish us with an update on the situation, and give us an insight to any improvements in the situation inside State borders?
