So I got an email this morning that says:
Quote:In addition to the Yoiul Festival gifts offered over the last 11 days, there are now extra items to enjoy! To celebrate through to the new year, these items can be claimed any time between now and Sunday 1 January, and will include:

GÇó Fireworks

However, my gift today did not contain a skill training accelerator.
Asking around, it doesn't appear that anyone got a skill training accelerator with their gift. Which is OK, but the email implies that one should have been included. |

You missed the 'Holiday Greetings __insert name here__' part at the start,
However yes today at 15:08 GMT I got the same mail with no Skill Training Accelerator to redeem,
however I am grateful for all of the free Items I have recieved since starting (yes I missed a few of the first gifts, wasn't registered)
Seems like a simple mistake in wording implying it would be given, when in fact it had been given out earlier ?
I doubt (hope) it wasn't a CCP scam to make me log in again instead of building LEGO helicopters

Mine also did not match the email.
I got 1 frigate skin, a festival launcher, and 300 snowballs on each of my accounts
Email mentions skins plural, launchers plural, fireworks, and skill training accelators which didn't come through.
I'm assuming that these will be given out of the next couple days, but poster above me said his did so now i'm confused |

i believe this is phrasing on the email, you got your gift today (a skin snowballs and festival launchers) my interpretation of this is that CCP will randomly put up more between now and the sunday 01-01-2016. |

doesn't look like any of the "bonus gifts" have actually been rolled out yet.
the frigate skin, launcher, and snowballs was our day 12 of yule gift.
Seems a bit weird that they would send out the e-mail before the actual gifts they mention... but this entire holiday rollout has felt like a bit of a chaotic mess. |

So I expect we'll get more fireworks as we approach new years eve. So last year for the first time for me I showed up to one of the organized fireworks events. I highly recommend it!! I also gate camp low sec with snow balls!! Be afraid!! |

I got the same email to a few of my characters, neither had the Accelerator or Fireworks in their box.
The wording clearly says WILL Include, not May Include, and it also says items can be claimed any time between now and the 1st, so whats the deal?

They did give you a gift for Christmas day, it was redeamable at 00:00 GMT (AKA eve time) december 25th. which if your in north america is anywhere between 4-8pm ish.... so they gave you your christmas gift, you where just impatient and opened it on christmas eve... and are now complaining about having nothing left to open. |

Well, it's right now 10pm on the 25th in North America, eastern time. I received nothing today at all. Yesterday I got a skin, launcher and snowballs. Don't know if there was supposed to be anything today, and tbh I'm not super bothered, but just sayin' that there wasn't. Maybe you meant december 24th... but that's not Christmas day, that's Christmas eve. I just think it's a bit strange about them saying how "special" the last day would be... if it is the items I got yesterday they were about on par with most of the other ones if a bit below some (multiple skins).

You seem to be confused by timezones.. Those gifts were made available on the 25th of Dec, GMT. You might have redeemed them on the 24th where you are, but they were issued on the 25th Eve Time. |

Ya we all got that one, but that can't be the one they mean since that specific gift box would have expired by now (unless already redeemed to a station).
So either they messed up on the Email, or they messed up on issuing gifts on the final day. |

Okay so let me just sum this up real quick.
Gifts are issued at 0:00 GMT on the 25th. For those in the US, this would've been anywhere from 7pm to 2pm the day before, the same time you've received all your other Yoiul gifts. The booster you received earlier and the email is therefore probably a miscommunication. This would not be surprising as it took them a week to send one of my accounts that expired an alpha welcome mail. |
