Basically, there was this whiner who was constantly suggesting stupid things like nerfing piracy, boosting sentry guns, etc. The usual hardcore carebear. But every time he posted a dumb idea, the same group of people explained why he was wrong and shot down his ideas (Rod Blaine, me, etc).
So he created a whine thread saying that "EVERY TIME I POST SOMETHING ONE OF THE SAME 23 PEOPLE SHOOTS IT DOWN!" or something like that.
And the name stuck.
Yep you pretty much got it. I can't remember the charactors name off hand, and I'm not about to go looking for the thread, but it was some random alt spewing drivel all over the forums.
I think I may have been on that list, since I was very active at the time, and remember posting in the majority of his threads since they were pure lunacy.
But there was no list put forth, so no one but the random alt knows, but if I had to guess some names, based on forum activity, and what they posted here would be my guess.
Avon, Rod Blain, Myself, DS, DC, RollinDutchMasters, Viceroy, and a couple others.
