Not sure what's dumber; that you think Vista rocks or how you want to infect a second machine with it. -=Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds=- |

No you can't install it on 2 machines. also for those with a "patch" you're going to get owned when SP1 is released.
And to the anti vista crowed - lol vista rules! more stable then xp, more secure, dx10 the list goes on.

There's an activation phase, if you don't do it in 30 days your machine will stop logging in. and only prompt to activate. You could, if you want, install it on your second machine and change the key within 30 days. You change the key on the bottom part of the Computer Properties menu. |

something along the lines of...
It builds a uniqie code based on the hardware in your pc, and sends it along with the Vista activation code to microsofts servers, so microsoft knows if a key is in use by two different mechines. -

The OEM license is a license to use the operating system on only one computer.
The Microsoft Vista EULA states that an OEM copy cannot be transferred between machines (as it did for XP). The activation process now enforces this. If you try and install your OEM copy onto a second machine the activation process will fail and you will be unable to use it.
I'm locking this topic here to prevent discussion of ways of bypassing this as they are illegal.
