Being a Logistic pilot and not having much to do on the side other than keeping everyone alive, I think it would be super nice to have in-game models for the shield, armor and hull remote rep modules with slightly different models due to their respective small, medium, large and capital counterparts.
Not only would it look nice and fill out the current roster of active high slot modules but it looks rather odd having waves of light emanating from a random point of your ship.....
Is it just me or does anyone else agree?
If someone at CCP could push this towards Ben Bohn that would be amazing! Thank you x

Why? Do we also need turrets and different effects for energy neuts, Energy nos and Energy transfer and different for all the different sizes for each? Sounds like a whole lot of effort to fix a non-issue.
Also wrong forum. This should go in features and ideas. |

Also wrong forum. This should go in features and ideas. You could have argued this about the turrets when CCP wanted to change that too.
OP has a point from a graphics pov regarding continuity. It would also allow a visual inspection of non turret fittings as well on ships. Intel is invaluable.
Have you heard anything I've said?
You said it's all circling the drain, the whole universe. Right?
That's right.
Had to end sometime.

You cant even zoom in enough to see the turrets with the new camera so whats the point.
Also lets not forget that they removed the visual distinction of t2 turrets. Now theres a stupid move... |

Course you can; press in both mouse buttons to zoom in extra - simples!

That sounds good. Make them look like the symbol for strip miners. They would appear as rotating 3d orbs in the ships armor. http://intergalactictrekylon.weebly.com/uploads/5/5/9/8/5598542/9719853.jpg?275
They retract into the hull for warp effects, and they can spin around and rotate. It's a shame strip miners don't reflect the symbol they have. |

Turret models, launcher models and even miner models are pretty distinct that visual identification is enough to figure out what that ship is kitted with. This should be extended to nos, neuts and logis. Of that I agree. Definitely make that happen.
A Minmatar warship is like a rusting Beetle with 500 horsepower Cardillac engines in the rear, armour plating bolted to chassis and a M2 Browning stuck on top.

I guess you are talking about the field of view (a poor substitute for a proper zoom) in that case you need to press them in the right order. |

Even so, it's not like it's hard at all......
