D2 hasn't done a thing to "save" us thusfar. They have their own problems. Whether that is smart on their part or not is irrelivant. This is OUR fight, and MC knows that without a doubt at this point.

to the fla guys out there... does it not bother you that d2, your closest "super power" allie isnt helping?
Whew... Hard not to spit bile. But honestly, it isn't D2's space. Again, it may or may not be in their best interest to lend a helping hand to neighbors, but that isn't our concern really. We win or lose this fight ourselves. It's more important that if MC take our space, they know who gave them the bloody nose they got to earn the real-estate.
I get why D2 aren't around. I don't blame them, but they aren't getting much out of it either.
On the other hand, I have fought along side corps and alliances that give it their all lately, and they make it worth it. On that note, I'd like to thank SUN for being with us out in CR. You guys were awsome. From one grunt orbiting a gate to another, it meant a lot to us that you guys were along side us out there. For a split second in that campaign it was like I ran up along side some kindred spirits. I hope you guys keep up the fight out there or wherever you are.
I know hard dicisions have to be made, but it's the simplicity of standing next to your allies and friends that speaks much louder to those of us who fight for hours on end with nothing to gain and plenty to lose. Louder certainly than the excuses about "net gains and loss" or figures in an account book, or arbitrary lines drawn and redrawn on a map.
Keep that in mind, eh?
And yeah, I think that this signature rocks. |

Good luck in your fight with MC. o7

Having power should come with it a certain sense of responsibility, and when that responsibility is realized and embraced, balance will be restored.
I fight not to destroy another's ideal or to save myself or my alliance but for the future EVE itself first, and a place with our ideal in it there after.
Thats BOB in a nutshell right there. afaik.
Except they are good that that capital stuff aswell.

Originally by: Habraka When FLA first came to Deklein, people said they were a carebear alliance like NFC, and that they wouldn't last a week when invaded by BoB or MC. Eventhough FLA might not be a 100% military alliance, they sure as hell deserve respect for standing and fighting for their homes. Whatever the outcome, I, and many people with me, will always remember FLA as one of us, a true Northern Alliance.
Give em hell!
Unless I misunderstand what you're saying, FLA was in Deklien long before NFC formed. -------------------------------------

There is no denying that BOB is good at what they do. My post was simply trying to make a point, that we are all not so different afterall. My personal view etc... -YOU ARE NOW READING MY SIGNATURE-

Did anyone ever say that BoB don't fight for what they believe in? If they didn't, they would never have made it this far. However, it does look like you're trying to polish people's impressions of BoB in a thread that has absolutely nothing to do with BoB.

Like all alliances FLA has its flaws, particularly in peace time, but when the proverbial hits the fan and times turn hard there is simply no better place to be. There's hardly an alliance out there that couldn't learn volumes about loyalty, comradeship and fighting spirit in the face of adversity from my former compatriots.
If the fight can be won, they'll win it. If it can't, they'll go down fighting to the last man, the last frigate and the last second. Either outcome will be something to remember and take pride in. Those who can't see the truth in that should be the first in line to take lessons.
Give them hell FLA!

Wow. This thread has some very encouraging posts in it. Thank you all.
Everyone who has fought by us in the face of darkness are heroes. Those who have turned against the light, and you know who you are, have betrayed a loyal friend they will never get back.
FLA won't crumble from this, we've been in worse situations and pulled through. FLA is more than just an alliance. It's an idea. The idea of truth and loyalty. Honour and courage in the face of adversity. You cannot defeat something like that.
