Every ship should be killable if you can corner it alone, keep it there, and bring enough dps without interference. At the moment thist doesn't apply to Motherships and Titans.
There are only three ways to keep a piloted mothership and titan in place, a) bump it, which stops it warping, but game mechanics-wise is dodgy as it causes desynch for everyone's client, and is counterable by cyno'ing out; b) interdict it, which stops it warping, but does nothing to stop it cyno'ing out; c) drain its cap, which takes so long to do that it can cyno out while you are still trying to lock it.
From that you can see that ANY mothership or titan can disengage, unless the pilot has chosen to stay and fight and use cap. With the recharge times involved on a rigged faction fitted supercap, its rare to see them stay on the field for a second after they see a hint of danger.
So, suggestion a) Change Interdiction Spheres to prevent cyno even for motherships and titans b) or introduce a new type of probe, call it a a Cynosaurul Disruption Probe or something, that interdictors, or a new class of ship, or even carriers, can fit that prevents even motherships and titans cyno'ing out for a short time. or any other suggestions?

I agree entirely, the fact that there isn't a consistent way to prevent a supercapital from warping or jumping is a tremendous oversight that needs immediate attention. A simple +10 to warp core strength on motherships and titans would be a compromise that could please everyone and work universally, and wouldn't require making dictor bubbles launchable in lowsec space. |

I believe that motherships and titans SHOULD be EW proof. As it is now they can be used for frontline combat without fear of getting damped to hell and back, this needs to stay. What needs to change is the lack of any valid tackle option. I really like the idea of a "Strategic Interdictor" a T2 ship on a ?battleship? hull that has probes that prevent the use of a jump drive, but still allow warp. Then everything is balanced.

tbh I think cynoing out of dictor bubles is a bug/oversight, nothing more.
+10 warpstrenght and scramable is fubar cause thats only 5 standard shortrange scrams, NOTHING compared to 70bil.
dictor bubles can at least be killed by smartbombs.

but in low-sec Snowy and The Establishment are both gatecamping in Moms, nothing can be done at all to them. Ewar? Nup. Bumping? Ever tried to bump a mothership for long enough that it won't pop before it manages to warp?
Dictor bubbles should be 0.0 only, and are, but as Mynas says, every ship should be killable if.....
and there's only 1 way of killing a mom in lowsec........and if they launch a dictor bubble, make that 0 ways of killing them!
0.0..............as you see, any mothership or titan can disengage unless you break the game trying to do so!

Well as a related note to the post above.. mom and titans should not be able to activate offensive weapons in low sec space. Either that or make their anti scramble power turn off outside of 0.0.
Eventually enough pirate corps will abuse low sec motherships that ccp will change the rules.. same way empire war was changed once privateers abused the system.
