People have been using multiple ships to kill a single target. I think that, in light of the new changes to war decs, each ship after the first shooting at a target should take progressively more time to lock. I mean... surely even though CCP didn't limit the number of ships you can use to shoot at a single target, they never intended blobs to get this big... I think we should also apply this new philosophy to the market place, mining, and anywhere else we can find a spot to cram this fantastic idea.

Why not make it so that each gun that shoots at a target does progressively less damage? This would mean even small ships have a chance against big ones. (This would, of course, only apply to PvP, as we don't want to make missions even harder than they already are. I mean, damn, they are nigh impossible already.)

meh, ok maybe i'll try to actually be mildly constructive...maybe. What's so bad about multiple tango's on one foxtrot......or whatever? If you want perfectly even # of friendlies / foes, i heard of this game called guild wars, or counter strike?
Getting ganksquadded is encouragement to join up with a group of people yourself, which is really 1/2 the point in eve for 90% of the circumstances. The game that 'forces' you to interact with other people.
I understand the distaste for 'blobbing', but i'm sure there's a better solution than this. Like maybe a BFG ship that's invincible and can kill everything instantly...............umm, wait.......yeah.

No.
Each ISK should take progressively longer to earn.

For those who didn't pick up on it, the point I was trying to make is that people were complaining about the use of a game mechanic, simply because it was on a larger scale than they liked. The nerf doesn't affect me directly, but I DO hate to see Eve get easier or more accomodating. When I started playing this game, being a new player was hard. Slowboating the 15km to the gate, starting with very few sp, and having had my first corp demolished due to wardecs (o noes!) made me into the Eve player I am today. Here's hoping Eve doesn't keep on its current trend, but it's a slippery slope... a slippery slope indeed.

Hmmm.... interesting, I didn't realize DS1 joined Ka-Tet. -------------------------- There is only one +6 sword of WTFPWN in Eve, and only the lag is allowed to equip it. |

4 / 10, tbh. Nice attempt, but needs to go back to the drawing board for a sarcasm tune-up. --------

The wardec "stacking nerf," so to speak, isn't a new idea... it was already implemented with wardecs, just in the opposite direction. I don't see why people think this is something that came from whiners, it's perfectly inline with the way CCP designed the wardec system, just a loophole they overlooked because they didn't expect anyone to be crazy enough to do it. -------------------------- There is only one +6 sword of WTFPWN in Eve, and only the lag is allowed to equip it. |

I can only speak for myself, but like yourself I happened to put my posts 'sarcasm beacon' at the tail end.
Meh, gotta love it in written form when you can't hear the 'sarcasm tone'. =p
