get your both chars to a same station and find you other char from the visitor tab and select trade.

Have not tried contracts a lot, but private (personal contract) between characters (accounts) should work. Refs: here, and here.

If one of those two accounts are a Trial Account, you're out of luck. 
You still have the option of having both pilots at the same station for an item exchange... though ISK in that same trade window will be denied.
Trial account pilots can receive ISK... but not send it out. Not through Corp deposits, direct trade, "Give Money" options, etc.
Trial accounts may not issue or receive Contracts, either. (Well.. Item Exchange, at least. Unsure about the other Contract options)

I'm assuming you are having issues with transfers/giving, as one account is a trial.
If both are paid accounts, it should be fairly straight-forward.

I'm pretty sure trial accounts can give money through direct trade.

Nope.
They can trade items directly just fine, but any ISK involved causes it to fail.

Uhm, right, so you gotta have two different accounts in order to give cash/items from one toon to another?
I`m running missions in my Drake atm and I`d like to share some of the stuff/cash he has with a character on the same account that I have setup as a miner (I actually think mining sounds fun :P) and so far I`ve yet to find out how to get the items from on to the other. Would be ****e if I couldnt "twink" my other characters :(

Not at all, if your two characters are on the same account, give money and contracts works just fine.
Money is of course the easiest, find your alt thru people and places then add him to you buddy list, then just right click him and select give money.
if you want to transfer items, you will need to use the contract system, a no fee item transfer set to private is great for this, I use it all the time inside our corp when we shop for one another, we just dont put a price on the contract itself since that would only increase the contract fee, (minimal is 10k)
Personaly I have used untrained chars as money banks, for saving up to some of the more expensive things
