I've inherited a Domi with 2 fitted sentry drone damage rigs, my primary use of the ship is as a lvl 3 mission runner (surveilance), any suggestions as to what I should put in the third rig slot? I suspect the flamers will say, 'whatever'! I currently have T1 250 med rails in the highs...

truth be told, you dont need rigs on a BS for lvl 3s, personally id keep it like that, fit a decent tank and sit it out. once you get to lvl 4 missions, you might wanna remove them rigs and fit something more suited for lvl 4s but im clueless about lvl 4s
i can run lvl 3s in a typhoon with my eyes closed.. some missions do get a bit harder if you agro everything, but when setup right it shouldnt be a problem.

You can try using a sentry setup on those missions. Basically fit 1-2 drone link augmentors in high slots, 1-2 drone tracking modules in mid slots, and sit on the sentries using them to pop frigs/cruisers from a distance. When the ships close the distance, scoop the sentries and deploy heavy drones to finish them off. The damage bonus that you're getting from the rigs is probably pretty significant so I'd want to use it. Keep in mind this strategy needs a bit of getting used to and won't always work-but when it does you can instapop frigs and kill cruisers very quickly.
As far as what to use for a third rig--when I was mission running in my domi I was struggling with cap. I'd heavily consider using a cap rig. Considering in L4 missions you're likely going to be running dual reppers + active hardeners, you'll probably need the cap.

Dominix Calibration points = 400
Sentry rigs calibration costs = 200 each
therefore 2x sentry rigs = no calibrations points = no third rig = do your math before calling other people morons

drop a sentry rug and fit 2 drone optimal range rigs, fit 5 drone links, 2 omni comps, and ur sorted for ur missions, throw a few SBs on there too.

I have drone control range, sentry damange, and just fitted but havn't used scope chip(drone range) rigs. I have 4 omni's but often just fit a couple of them. hi-slots are salvage, tractors and a few hybrids.
Most lvl 3's are painfully easy. I can't fight the whole battle with my sentries. But that is the strength of the Dom, huge drone bay == flexibility to carry multiple loadouts.
I don't even have that great of drone skills interfacing IV and sentry III or IV I forget.
