So uhh, just poking thru my eve directories, and i see my cache folder is 3.76gb!
Is this normal?

i had a 5 gig hard drive that just recently got replaced the only thing on it was windows, eve and the video and sound drivers and I was running out of space. So eve gets big... I think it's from the planet data mainly

My cache was once over 30gb because I was bored and got the bright idea to load char portraits for every user in the game (tried to get everyone in trade room, and flew around the busy systems loading pics).
Eventually it became way too laggy so I cleared it, I'm around 500mb now.

20k that all?...i think i had close to 111k when i deleted all mine. Took my comp nearly 5 mins to delete them all

planets are teh devil... if u pay ur ISP for MB used, set planet detail to low :)
Actually, i dont even know if these 2mb planet files comes from the server... i cant imagine, cause i load em pretty quick ? :D

I'd harass CCP to do something to fix their busty gigant0r cache folder, but.... it's really not worth risking another round of new bugs :P I'd rather them focus on other things that will actually increase our fun in gameplay, directly.

LOL Sara thats funny that you did that cuz I did too. I was doing it for about 3 weeks and I realized my cache folder was huuuuuuge took like 5 minutes to delete the pics subfolder lol.
Won't try that one again.
