Been searching the webb but i cant find a solution to my problem. I need to implement "slowmotion" and text to specific areas in my fraps but sofar iŠve only been able to use slowmotion over an entier part of 1 fraps.
I also need to find out how to put text in some areas to describe what is beeing done.
Im using Windows Movie maker cuz its free. If the movie gets good feedback im concidering to buy a better prg, but i will have to make do with the moviemaker for now.
One last question. Is there a way to have a small "window" showing another fraps while still showing the main-movie at the same time, using Windows moviemaker ?
/Thanks in advance.

"I think the best way is to create images on your own and import them. I'm doing it in this way and it works. So you can do it also Wink" Exert from a post on that forum about your problem sorta

Edited by: Dire Lauthris on 24/04/2007 21:35:48 It's been a while since I used WMM, but I'm pretty sure what you need to do is:
- Drag in fraps segment - Shorten it to the point you want the slow mo to begin - Copy and paste that segment to the next bit of the timeline - Adjust the beginning of the copied segment so that its first frame follows on from the last one of the original (i.e. if you play the two segments it looks like one) - Add the slowdown-half or whatever effect to the second segment - Optionally do another copy of that fraps after the slow mo one at normal speed
It works pretty nicely on explosions.
I seem to remember it being kind of tricky to match up sometimes in WMM so throwing in a cheeky fade in from white on the slowmo bit helps blend it in.
Hope it makes sense. Not sure about the other stuff, I didn't really get that far into WMM.

I'm sure you'll figure out the slow-motion you're trying to achieve.

Yes you can, just not "out of the box". You'll need to download this plug-in for WMM.
