I have no idea how this is going to be implemented other than I know LP will be for corp and that you can buy items with LP and that you can also buy/sell LPs between players.
I hope that the type of items will be more exciting than those available from agent offers today.
I also would like to see faction items to be offered for LP reward. For example from Caldari corps you can get Caldari Navy items etc. But it would also be nice if you could get some of the more wanted pirate stuff like Gist X Shield boosters etc, even if the agent are not a pirate faction. From a RP pov see it as captured stuff or something.
These rare offers should be rare and be sold through an auction but instead of ISK like normal contract auctions you bid with your LPs. Let the auction last for a week or so.
This is so these items don't get to common and lower their current price to much.
I woudl also suggest that the number of offers depends on how many people are running missions for that corp (maybe look at the total number of LPs given to players or something) so that for example Caldari Navy would have more offers than some smaller corps. But the not so much used corps should also get these offers and to participate in auctions there should be some kind of standing requirement (and be higher for the better stuff) as well for the corp.
This would make it more attractive to run missions for the corps that are not used very much.
I also think that the normal LP shop items should have dynamic prices, ie if many people buy a certain item the price in LP goes up and vice versa.

Is this 'LP store' thing something you came up with or are CCP actually planning on implementing this...?
Personally, I think the idea is ridiculous. Loyalty Points is something you earn through your agent, because of the growing trust between you, as you do jobs for them. You can't trade and sell trust to someone else... you want to buy something, you use ISK, that's what money are for...

Not sure if the LP store idea is CCP's or the poster's. The idea of selling/trading LP seems lame much like the 2nd poster mentioned. However I wouldn't mind having a selection of items i can purchase through my agent using my LPs instead of waiting for what appears to be a randomly timed and randomly chosen offer from an agent. As for the items that you could buy,they should only be what you would have likely been offered by the corp's agent in the first place.

The Loyalty Point system will be turned into a more store-type mechanism, almost how many envision a black market (and in essence it is), thus creating a high-level ISK sink.
