Dear Eve player,
Since FIELD command (or T1 BC) ships do not provide any bonus to specific gang assist modules, I am NOT forced to equip an Armored Warfare Link.
Hence, in your opinion which gang assist module would you equip your SMALL GANG PvP Heavy Pulse and MWD-equiped Absolution (or Amarr T1 BC OR ANY BC/FIELD COMMAND ships)?
Thanks in advance...
P.S: I am not interested in training for a D*mnation or Mind link implants yet... hence again not forced to train for and equip an armored warfare link....
My guess are: 1 - passive defence, thus providing everyone with armor resistance 2 - evasive maneuvres, thus reducing everyone's signature 3 - sensor integrity, thus reducing the likelihood of being jammed
Not interested in shield since I will not receive any benefit...

Edited by: Dahak2150 on 25/04/2007 10:52:09 Problem with buffing folk's armor resists is that it stacks with mods on the ship, and being that the effect is usually less than or equal to a T1 EANM (unless you go all out), it doesn't buff a lot.
Sig radius is useful, it's a bit better than a couple levels of Interceptor, but would apply to all the ships, and most importantly isn't stacking nerfed \o/. ----------------

The three that you mention are all good, but a lot depends upon the other ships in your gang, and who you are likely to be fighting.
For example, if you're flying with a lot of frigates, lower signature radius can come in quite handy, but those same frigates won't gain much benefit from a little extra sensor strength.

The three you mentioned gives decent bonuses in their respective area. Interdiction maneuvers on the other hand, changes the entire way your gang fights, if they're set up especially to take advantage of it.

I certainly prefer the "armored warfare link - passive defense" module, it increases the survivability of the gang quite nicely.

Yep, the same with shield harmonizing. Both are pretty useless imo without the correct fleet command ship and max skills. And preferably a mindlink.
Reason: Variant 1 - gang undocks with proper fittings and hardenings (is that even a word?) -> stacking penalty kills already low bonus Variant 2 - gang undocks with gank fitting and low resistances -> other bonuses (e.g. faster lock time, lower sig, longer scrambler range) fit ganking much better
Skirmish - Evasive Maneuvers Skirmish - Interdiction Maneuvers Armor - Damage Control Siege - Shield Efficiency
Those are probably the most useful in a small fleet, depending, of course, on your situation and tactics.
