Was clicking on random pages in Wiki (whilst mining) when came across a page that talked about the something awful forums.
I knew I had heard of these forums whilst reading the Eve forums at some point but couldn't remember the context so I decided to take a look.
OMFG.. damn some people really take computer games seriously and I mean really seriously.
I then found an add for the goons

It's really weird that they expect people on the internets (and on a forum, at that) to be able to read and follow even very simple and basic instructions.

redit, 4chan, SA, and numerous more secretive ones
I can name several that actively invade other games and their forums for sport

I distinctly remember one guy making a ragepost about how the entire GSF was founded on one huge EULA violation because they required you to be a member of SA (which you have to pay your :tenbux: for) in order to join.
It made me laugh, in the same way I might laugh at the antics of a small puppy trying to get outside and repeatedly bashing his head on a glass patio door. |

It's the way it has always been done on the SA forums, yes the claims are dubious as hell and the game really does not work in that sort of way but i guess it gets some new players joining
