Im interetsed in getting in to manufacuting but uncertain on what do build with everyone using TII these days...
I was looking at Iron L Charge to build because its build reqs are low (I can fly a RETEIEVR so mining minerals will be easy)
Is it worth building them and selling them in hubs?

If you want to build ammo and make isk, build the highest damage ammo and sell it either in mission stations or the entrances to 0.0
I've payed millions for a few rounds of ammo because I dont want to move systems or stations.

Yeah, I love the little mini-markets which pop up for ammo such as Antimatter L, around mission areas. :D

Phased Plasma 1st then Fusion are quite used munition for Minnies.

EMP ammo for projectiles
Anti matter for hybrids
Kinetic missiles
i'm not sure if people use cruise or torps for missions.

Wrath cruise missles, sell around Caldari Navy mission hubs.
Also there are several cheap to build mods that most people use on their ships. Think about it a little and you can find some nice selling items.

it will be very hard for you to successfully penetrate the market without a well researched bpo and perfect building skills.

Look for "pirate and police vessels destroyed" on the map and look for big blobs. Then change the filter to look for lvl 4 mission agents within a jump or two of those red blobs. Where the two converge, you probably have a mission hub. Ignore Motsu, Oursulaert, Dodixie and Aunia because those are old markets. Avoid low-sec too, because people there probably brought their own blueprints with them (and it's too dangerous for an industrialist).
Start selling torps and cruise in all flavors, but especially kinetic and thermal.
