GREAT JOB, you guys are more "in tune" with the game and its players then any other dev group IÆve ever seen. As a whole you move the game in a great direction, and with the exception of the occasional bug "stuff happens" EVE has been GREAT. Hell i don't know of any other game that can claim a consistant INCREASE in it's playerbase over the years.
I've worked with programs with a couple thousand lines of code and it's very hard to find bugs as well as maintain. I can't even imagine what it'd be to have to work on a couple million like EVE. Never mind the complex coding to operate the largest network cluster in the gaming world.
All in all CCP has a consistent history of positive changes, additions, and fixes most game companies envy. Well worth the $15 per month. Thank you, and 5 smiley faces  .

YOu dont see wow devs going from place to place wishing everyone Happy Holidays. you dont see developers in the new player channle in otehr games. They are a great bunch.

This cannot be said often enough. Cin cin for the EVE developers! Without them, who knows, EVE might have gone the way of Planetside.

I wholeheartedly agree with the OP.
Oh, and about the "nerfs," personally, I've seen just about every one of them as being a fix to a cheap way of getting free kills with zero risk. As far back as the jetcan-spam days of m0o, there's always been people whining because ganking took a little more thought and effort.

I'm new to the game, and maybe don't have enough time under my belt to comment on the mechanics of the game... but the sheer quality of the universe, the graphics and the backstory are well worth my $$$ right now.

Agree! EVE is the most advanced piece of MMO technology I have ever played, and also the most bug free. The devs listen to the players, its great. Occational bugs will show up, but compared to other games (SWG for example where the new devs doont understand the old coding), EVE is one of the best out there. A lot of other games are fighting just to keep bugs down to a level where the game is playable.
And for server downtime... Rather 1 hour per day than 9-10 one day per week...

It took me a couple of attempts to actually get into the game but I think the third time is a charm. I was a huge fan of Freelancer and when one of my buddies told me about this game I took a look. I was really impressed with the depth of this game, and to this day I still am. This game blows other MMO's out of the water with quality and its uniqueness. Great job CCP, continue what you are doing, this game is awesome. Thank you.

Things I love about the devs in this game:
1. They interact with the playerbase.
2. Free expansions! Yea!
3. Rapid communication response when issues come up.

periodic nerfs and buffs are welcome... it makes the game tougher and gets people to adapt to an everchanging universe. it keeps the game fresh and with new playable options. most importantly it frustrates people who have the 'ultimate' setup into thinking and learning the game or leaving so we don't have to hear their lame cries. who would have expected that battleships would become ultimate speed machines back before interceptors were introduced? that missiles would be the ultimate and then be ultimately crap? thank you for keeping the game fresh by getting me and others to crosstrain and getting me multiple options for what to fly.
PS: please work on keeping a log of bugs you fix so you don't re-introduce them in later patches
