Been playing for a few days (have played previously)and I am trying to access my character via the eveonline website.
Every time I try to click on 'My Character' on the navigation menu, it redirects me to players news center. I have tried to link directly to the character page by typing the address manually, but no luck. Its been like this since I tried yesterday.
Please advise.

I read somewhere that the page is temporarily down, but some others claim it is working for them. It might be an issue with the browser - I've tried Opera and Firefox and both do not show my character. Internet Exploder is supposed to work, but when I wanted to try they shut the server down and I could not get a connection at all.

The MyCharacter page has a lot of problems since two weeks, I don't know why.
It make EVEMon showing wrong or outdated informations :/

It was down or disabled the other week, it was fixed tuesday (i think) and now it's down again. It'll be back gents don't worry, I like to see how my trading chars are doing while i'm at work so it's a pain for me too

(Ignoring the recent character page outage)
I've had a similar problem using Firefox for several months. The first time I click on My Character it asks me to log in then dumps me on the news page. If I click on My Character again it then takes me to My Character page.
Then, if I want to log into My Character for a different account, it doesn't work. I can put in my new login details, but it will keep showing me my first account's characters. I have to clear my Firefox cache/cookies to access a different account.
I haven't bothered to look into it since I'm lazy, but I'm guessing this is more a Firefox caching/cookie problem than the web page (or a stupid 'IE only' design that doesn't follow html standards).

They disabled it ( there is a sticky post on this very fact ), its expected and was basicly promised to be back by 17:00 today.

It has been working fine for minimally a day (I think since Monday). Just checked and it is still working.
Click MyCharacter. If your session has timed out, you will be redirected to News and in the process have your session renewed. Click it again and you are at your character page.
Same thing with forums. Logged in, browse for awhile, and go to 'Reply.' It looks like the page just refreshed and you have to click 'Reply' again. Just renewing your log-in session. I'm not sure if it does this in IE, but definitely always has in Firefox.
Edit: EveMon seems not able to retrieve info from it, though.

This shouldn't work considering its suppose to be disabled.
( Read the news, its not suppose to be backup till 17:00 )
Which is a minute from now, I live 4 hours behind the server time, so my clock is whacked.

XML exporting was disabled, not the character sheet itself. Hence why EveMon wouldn't work.
