Hi Guys,
I'm going to start running gala rendezvous sites tonight.
What ships/fits finish these sites the fastest?

What ships/fits finish these sites the fastest? o7 Polarized Machariel with a pair of scan resolution-scripted T2 sensor boosters. Hail L ammunition and a flight of T2 Warrior light drones (rarely needed, but helps if you're competing with other players). Run a T2 tractor beam for the Angel battlecruiser wreck. You don't need any bling, tank or a MWD. Just a fast align time, boosted tracking speed and Hyperspacial rigs to boost your warp speed. Warp to 20km for the events and you're off to the races. Have fun!

From what I've seen the differences are not that big. Most of the time is spent warping around and searching for the sites, so maybe it's best to use something with a decent travel speed.
Once inside the site, the sniping Battleships seem to be the fastest. T3 Destroyers and the Gila are also seen frequently.
As my combat and ship skills are very bad, my best option so far is the Hurricane Fleet Issue with 425mm AC, 2 x Heavy Assault Missile Launcher, 2 Webs, Target Painter, 3 x Gyro, 2 x Tracking Enhancer, 1 x Drone Damage Amplifier
Time to complete is between 3:15 min and 3:30 min, don't know how fast you can get with good skills and a decent ship...

You can do gala with tech 1 ships. Its noob friendly event. I've seen Thorax , Hurricanes and all sorts run the site. If you're in populated system a sleek ninja fit will do. Seriously does not require much of anything just fit for the fastest completion rate. |

I've been running them in a 800mm auto cannon fit Tornado. Warp in at 50km and slowboat to the center. Anybody that jumps in, target them (just make sure not to shoot until they try to steal the end kill if you don't get it). For some reason, being locked by a Tornado at range scares a lot of people off.
Having a Tornado in local gets you a lot of snide comments from miners as well.

Just have good tracking speed for the frigates. They're the hardest part. Cruisers and bc go down quick. |

a polarized vigilant is also a nice option. with 2 90% webs and a spare scrambler she can scare many competitors.
have seen lots of t3 cruisers which are scared and do nothing. but some pulled the trigger cause its a cruiser. |

All you need to do is warp to the event at 20km and bring a tractor beam. As long as you can lock targets fairly quickly and apply damage out to 20-30km you're basically good to go, so with a bit of planning you can really utilize any ship. More DPS is obviously better...

I used a HAM Gila with a tractor beam in the utility high.
Hyperpacial rigs for faster au/sec. Lows are drone damage. med is an AB, tracking link, and Target painters. I used a invuln and LSE while doing this, but if I was optimizing, you could likely drop both for more damage mods like a missile computer/TP/tracking computer.
The longest wave was the frigates because it's hard for the HAM to apply damage. |

I like the Ham because of contested sites. Pretty much you can alpha the BC with 1 volley. |
