Hi
I just tried logging into the test server. However I get to the character selection progress bar, and it just seems to be stuck at 'Entering game as Chruker...'
The char is located in Stetille atm.
Anyone else getting that?

Me too, weird thing though because the other characters work fine, but the actual char I want to use doesn't work :/

I have serveral problems with r&d jobs. Gets sometimes stuck, if I click 'get jobs'. Then it shows fetching data and no jobs appear.
Same with delivering 'invention jobs'. After delivering 1,2 or 3 jobs it just gets stucks with the progress bar. If I press esc and try to get the jobs again, no reaction.
I don't know, sometimes relogging helps, but shortly it happens again. I cleared out the cache, doesn't help. I guess something is borked with the testserver database.

While I can get in now, I have another problem. I was located in Stetille and went to Dousivitte (or however it is spelled). In that systems I could warp to the stargates but none of them would activate when I click the jump button. The autopilot couldn't do it either. Over a couple of disconnections I noticed that each time I logged on my ship would be at the jump-in point from Stetille. So eventually, I tried the Stetille gate, and it worked...
So I thought it might be a node death or something, so I plotted another course, but I ran into the exact same problems in Adiere.
Am I destined to be confined to Stetille?

And I don't think I'm loosing connection, because the IGB, S&I and market usually works. The stargates just doesn't.
The installation I'm using have been used daily since the last patch on the 20th without any of these problems. The only thing that has changed was me delete the MachoNet folder when I started having these problems.

I suspect that other people are having these problems because the number of players reported on the login screen is usually the same 66-80 but there is a long queue to get in. While the other day when TQ was down for the exploit fix, there were some 450 on SISI.

I've had some of the same problems.
Yesterday I could not get further than to selecting character. The "Entering game as Rolf Rabiat" status bar would just fill up and nothing would happen. Eventually I was put back to the character selection screen.
Today I have been trying to log in with no success. I get the message that the server is full and that I'm number XXX in line. When I'm number 1 in line I can't connect or my que number jumps back up to 159 or something similiar. The amount of people on the server is shown as around 80 all the time.
I have tried to delete the Eve-test folder and making a new one from the one i use on Tq. Im not getting told that I need to download a test patch wich I find a bit strange. The problem with logging in is still the same.

It seems to have been getting worse and worse all day.
Think I hit the max number of 150 earlier...then 80, then 75..
The main problem I was running into when I could get in though was at the jump gates. Originally I'd set it on autopilot to move it but I came back to find it stuck at a gate going nowhere. I tried turning off autopilot but it didn't help - every time I tried to do anything, I'd get the session in progress message, so I logged. When I came back, I found I was at the gate where I'd entered the system, not at the gate I was trying to leave it by. I tried warping and a manual jump - same problem. I plotted another course to where I wanted to go but ran into the exact same problem after a few jumps. It seems I can't leave the constellation Pegasus in Fountain.
It sounds like others are also having problems leaving constellations. |

Well, either I got lucky and got a good slot on the server or something changed when the test server was down around 11:15, because now I'm in and it is running fine for me. Strange.
EDIT: Well, my luck deteroirated. The damn accelleration gate in the complex I tried wouldn't send me onto the second room ('Session change already in progress'). However I don't think I was lagging because the rats were still dealing me damage, and I deadling them. There wasn't any lag in the combat. And even my ship's destruction mail, came immediately. The gate just didn't work. :-)
EDIT EDIT: I suspect that some dev is testing a new weapon: 'Laggy' Jump Scrambler I

hi,
I've logged into the test server, and I'm trying to jump. Session change already in progress. I lose controls of my ship. I re-log, get controls etc back, try dock, sesssion change already in progress etc... lose all control, so i -re-log etc, Am I just suffering lag an an epic scale or is this happeneing to anyone else?

As CCP rarely takes care of SiSi during the weekend, expect it up... Monday. :|

ok stop whining CCP work hard keeping the server running and this morning "The weekend" their was a problem with the proxy dropping a second and the server was restarted. Be patient and it will be back up.
Give them a break!

I've had exactly the same issues, only the system was murethand. I used an alt to try and jump in, and that worked, but I couldn't jump out :(

I made an alt but he managed to get stuck in Perimeter. My main is 'stuck' in Deltole, due to problem with the loading screen never dissapearing.

I can accept that the server for some reason doesn't work, but the lack of information is what really bugs me.
I mean with all the threads in the forum. Somebody at CCP surely must have noticed it.
And since they are working at CCP they must know who is in charge of the server and how to contact them.
However since nobody has said anything I can only assume that CCP employees are thinking 'somebody else will handle that'. Which is very sad.
So CCP:
- Allow/force every employee to report problems with the public servers ASAP. As part of that duty, should be to reply to thread in the forum, that the employee has reported it. I would also suggest some better management of the server MOTD.

It's the lack of acknowledgement that annoys me, they should really put a notice of the problems somewhere. I understand it's a test server but I've become somewhat dependant on it for testing setups and for some quick PvP during the boring parts on TQ :)

Luckily, since two hours before the test servers regular downtime and now for an hour after it, the test server has been running fine for me 
I submitted a bug report with some test results from pingplotter, which showed how TQ and the webserver had an ok result. Whilst the route to SISI was very very 'bumpy'. 30 minutes after I submitted it, the server started to run ok. However I don't know if a BH/dev did anything or if it was mere coincidence.
Should it be some routing problems that only affects some demographic it would be nice if the devs would acknowledge that, so that people could start providing pingplotter results.
