1) Modifying a POS is a very long and painful process of watching a timer. It would be nice if it were possible to queue up POS actions. Let a player position a structure and specify "anchor & online". If the tower is already processing some other action, the current one should be queued. The same queuing should happen for unanchoring.
2) Why is it not possible to cancel an (un)anchoring action in process?

That would be wonderful, I hate having to watch stuff anchor and then start another job and another and another...
I want to get a set of structures started, and then go to bed tto have it all onlined when I get up the next day. The onlything you should be required to be there for is watching the POS get anchored, put fuel in and online it. thats it.
2) Ask CCP :P

Atleast create a pos management (5) skill that lets you do more concurrent things on your pos.
Unanchoring, multislot intensive refinery, and so on.
Life is about memories the more the better.

There is no cancelling of an unanchoring or anchoring unless you count blowing up the structure in question before the operation completes.
