I pick up all pirate drops, no matter how wimpy they are and I recycle pretty much everything. For one, it keeps my hangar organized and another bonues is rare ores at no cost, but what is really angers me is when you have a lot of objects in your hangar and the refine window scrolls back up to the origin each time your refine something, forcing you to scroll back down to refine something at the bottom of the list.
Also, I usually come up with quite a few basic modules, and they all line up in the refine window, so why can't we highlight multiple objects and "refine all".
I figured these small hassles would be fiexed in a huge release like castor, but i guess not.

I agree that it is annoying to have the list pop back to the top. My guess is once something has been refined it is removed from the processing window and the window then repopulates itself putting everything in alphabetical order thus 'resetting' the window. As such I think the fix is harder than it may appear on the surface.
As for multiple basic objects you can stack them in your hangar window. If they can't be stacked then 'repackage' them (which you can now do easily by right-clicking on them and selecting that from the menu). Once repackaged the items can be stacked. When stacked they appear in your re-processing screen as a single pile of however many units that can be reprocessed together in one go.

tru, i always stack, but the items i'm talking about are the 20 different basic pirate drops that can be picked up in an hour of hunting, which obviously can't be stacked since they are different.
and i have been thinking for a while that ccp should really think about the amount of database access that goes on. lessening it and caching a certain amount of data on the client until a log off would be a good idea. this is more apparant now with the "cannot perform that action as a session is already in progress" message!

Every item should have a nice check box next to it. You run through the list once ticking each item you want to recycle, then hit recycle selected.
Its a pain recycling large amounts the current way :(
