Looks like Federation space is the place to be with so many corrupt officials kicking around.
mmm.... might even prove to be somewhat profitable.

I'm no citizen of the Federation.
Revocation of my Federal Citizenship was the best thing ever to happen to me, short of being given the opportunity to leave a steaming turd on Foiritan's desk.
The Federation is a shell of it's former self and frankly is a political circus full of corrupt fools.

For the second time in as many weeks, Veto Corp have come into contact with Serpentis patrols in Lowsec Placid.
Bizarrely enough, the same patrol that was decimated last time we met, was sighted by members of our roster jumping into Orvolle, a system patrolled by the Federation Navy, and apparently by a friendly source later that night jumping back through into the bordering low security chain of systems.
One begs to ask... do the Federation Navy even care, or have the manpower to effectively police their borders? Or is the Federation in even more of a state than it was Five Years ago?
Navy... Laughable Indeed when you're unable to protect your own borders from Serpentis Incursions.
Bizzare that a fully armed Serpentis patrol sent running, were able to jump into CONCORD and Federation Navy patrolled space, for a number of hours before returning to unpatrolled Placid.
Perhaps the "loyalists", or indeed the Federation Navy itself would like to account for the basic lack of defense of Federal Borders?
There is no Serpentis in Placid. It is more likely that background radiation interfered with FedNavy transponders. Clearly several ship components are in need of an upgrade.
I could recommend several Federation corporations that would be most happy to assist you for a small fee.

Edited by: Nathaniel Hull on 04/05/2007 00:54:38 While chasing a small armed convoy of serpentis through Placid just yesturday with local militia forces; members of 808 Enterprises along with the whole combined force observed the scum dock at a Fed Mart Facility. WHY I ask are they able to do so when their standings are lower than hanging long limb fodder with the Federation. Have they simply forgotten that these people are ruthless drug peddling criminals.
Furthermore these men were not arrested when they docked by station authorities but, allowed to lick their wounds and wet their wistles, while broadcasting taunts to their pursuers in local comms. By Concord law we could not land our own Marines to take these men into custody and as the Federation was no help the Fleet broke up and the good militia men and women of Placid returned to some semblence of normalcy. I am glad to say at least the Militia accomplished their goal of not only intercepting and confiscating the illicit drug shipment but also in destroying the convoys leader an junior officer mounted in an Arazu class cruiser. The ships which managed to elude capture were two Tyrannis class interceptors.
I would hope to see a more full account of the action reported soon.
