So, I've recently really gotten into using a Rokh in PVE for mission running, often with a group, and i was thinking that a full set of Halo Implants would make the Rokh much tougher against opponents from a distance and do a lot to reduce the damage I take from cruise missiles (really the only thing that consistently reaches and hits me). I have the ship mostly set up with damage mods and a not a lot of tanking, and I don't intend to change that, so I was thinking that Halo implants might really make a difference by reducing damage from missiles, and to a lesser extent other weapons.
Thoughts, comments, suggestions?

I bop back and forth between a lot of different ships, and with the exception of the Rokh I don't use any shield setups, so I'm looking to avoid crystals. I understand how amazingly good they are, but I'm thinking of trying to pursue a different route.

You're using a ship that has one of the largest sig rates, trying to work out anything based on your sig rate has to fail. Even with a full halo set your Rokh will still take full damage from a cruise missiles. You're better off investing your money into some faction hardener/shield booster. I think I should also mention that a Raven is a way better ship for mission running. -------------------------------------- Agent & Mission-Info: http://www.eveinfo.com Evewide Market-Info: http://eve-central.com/ |
