Ok vie worded real hard and saved up 8 BILLION ISK!!!!
TIme to buy a sweet pvp character because I really dont want to wait 3 years... Alt of my other friends have done this before, why not?
Ok I found a great character and its going to cost me 7 bil, thing is I have to give all the isk upfront to the person who ran the auction who happens to be a 1 day old alt which scares me.
Anyways, whats the chances me me getting scammed buying a character from the sell orders on eve-o forums???
And if I do get Scammed will I get my isk back??

There should be a procedure to ensure that you don't get scammed; I believe you will send evemails to one another detailing the agreement you have worked out (I would make sure to include the skills advertised, etc...).
Then CCP will have a record that this WAS an agreement you both entered into out of the game, and step in if the deal isn't what it is supposed to be.

17. Scamming ETCÆs and character sales are not allowed, please petition if you suspect you have been scammed. When buying and selling characters, please note that by confirming the trade via EVEmail, you ensure that the facts of the matter are documented, should any later disputes arise that require GM attention.

While CCP will not protect you from in-game scams that could be avoided by normal care, they do protect people from GTC scams and character trading scams.
People often create a completely new character to act as a "straw man" for the transfer. This is so they can keep the identities of any other of their characters confidential. However, CCP has logs of all the activity. So even if you transfer the isk to a one-day old character, who then transfers it to someone else and then that one-day old character is deleted, CCP will know who the isk was ultimately transferred to and can recover it if it turns out you were scammed.
I would recommend EVE-Mailing the character you are sending the isk to saying: "This is to confirm the purchase of so-and-so character for the total of 7 billion isk. Please reply to this EVE-Mail to confirm these are the terms of the transaction."
Even if the eve-mails get deleted CCP will still have a record. ----------------------------------------------------

I think buying a character in the first place is so lame.
Just because you have the skills in a character doesn't mean you have the ability to use it to your advantage.
I've seen more people like that podded than you know. ------------------

If the seller is using a one day old alt, I would recommend insisting that he evemail you with his main that you will be purchasing, then send the money to the main. He can then transfer the money to his 1 day old alt prior to transfering the character.
While CCP will protect against scamming on character transfers, you are setting yourself up to be scammed dealing with 1 day old characters.

You'll be getting email from these people soon.
Please whine about how hard it was to betray the trust of your corp who supported you and steal every isk from some of us- is that really working hard for money, or just taking the easy way out.
Coward.
Feel free to send back that few hundred isk, whenever is fine. tia.

Why put yourself through the hassle of bargaining with CCP to get revenge on a scammer? Just don't get scammed and don't do obviously stupid things only because you can later go through a lengthly process to reverse your prior stupidity.

What did he do to get in trouble with the mods? Corp theft is allowed and there's nothing with this post.
Are you petitioning his ridiculously ugly avatar as harassment?
