Tristan Valentina wrote:"Mating ritual" implies that we do the same thing every time. I take direct offence to this notion us savage freedom loving barbarians would ever mate in anyway that would be considered a "ritual". We are far to imaginative for such a bore.
Come back to Vlil and stay a while sometime Commander. We have tons of Minmatar who will gladly let you try, and show us our place. Last time we did, several gallente capital ships went pop and the system became ours. Have you seen my revelation, incinerating gallente hub? It was quite a sight. And that infamous gallente archon named "Vilililire". It looked quite nice after a fight on overview as "Wreck of Virilirierier"
But you know what, I will pass your proposition to the Directorate, maybe we'll come again to cleanse this system from federal infestation more thoroughly.

You completely misunderstand the point I think. The whole basis of such 'entertainment' is mutual respect. Everybody has their boundaries and these will be adhered to by any and all who participate. Nobody is forced to perform any act or action they do not wish to (some do want this but that's an entirely different thread).
Such a party is as far from being uncivilized as you can get. It has to be by it's very nature. |

And boundaries?! Boundaries are to be broken. Whom I would be if I always stayed in my comfort zone? Every training is surpassing boundaries, doing what was impossible before, striving to be better, stronger, faster! Where would our society been if nobody was forced and convinced to do act or action they do not wish to do?! Everyone would become just a slob, pursuing own petty interests!
Unacceptable!
That would be a degradation and fall of society! Pushing others through boundaries and forcing others are required mechanisms to maintain civility and civilization.

But here you have a contradiction.
You say boundaries are to be broken and yet you completely reject a gathering where all take part willingly and equally on a basis of respect. Your rejection is based upon the boundaries you still place upon yourself for whatever reason.
This would also apply to your fighting for the Caldari against the Gallente, you seek to enforce and protect one set of arbitrary boundaries from another. By your words you should seek to make those boundaries meaningless within yourself, the Empires do you no favours in any respect. I chose to move to WH space to free myself from those boundaries. Perhaps you need to consider the same to truly push yourself. |

Pardon me, you use "lies" so many times even my wires get tangled.
You're repeatedly excusing yourself from challenges you've issued on some made-up grounds. Like with Jason Galente.
You're racist towards the Matari and most ethnicities of the Federation (spare for the Intaki, I recall.)
You're the very, very essence of a navy officer from a propaganda holo - only from the other side.
Thus, your very and every cry "glory to the state" is an affront to every man, woman and furrier wearing the uniform.

I dunno. 'cause I felt like it.
When the outcome of the system, in this case - the Kimling making another thread - is impossible to avoid in the grand scheme of things, it's not about stopping her from doing so.
It's about seeing how much amusement can it bring you.
In the long run, a thread of this type will always, eventually crop up and pick up replies, and the plausibility of us stopping it from doing so is miniscule.

I am not aware that the State has furriers in uniform. I must capture one of these and 'convince' it to defect and join the side with the tattered black flags.

Well Diana, its an important question. Would you ask someone to service and inspect your Scorpion Navy Issue when they had no experience with Caldari shipbuilding and maintenance practices? Similarly, since you are questioning Gallentean mating practices, I ask what experience and knowledge you have of such?

Amusing though it can be to tease Commander Kim, especially if there are no kittens immediately to hand for the bored to persecute, the essence of Liberty is that people can express their sexuality in any damn way they please. This includes being asexual, or entirely utilitarian about the act.
We have several patrons of Alice's Restaurant (where, I remind readers, you can get anything you want) who employ the more, ahem, vivacious of our boys and/or girls to present a temptation for them to resist. They apparently gain a certain 'spiritual' fulfilment from being tested, at least as satisfying as a physical reward. I know of several cults that practise abstinence as a virtue.
I really do think we should leave the woman alone, even if she is in more dire need of having her bell rung than any woman in history.
