I would say that Inties are the best solo ships in EVE. from RP view too.

For some crowpilots BCs are a realistic target. Badly fitted BS without heavy NOS too.

Most haulers in low sec will have stabs, and if you attack them on a gate, the guns will engage. I wouldnt say haulers are feasible ----------- Amarr- If you like to handicap yourself before the fight begins, then Amarr may suite your needs surprisingly well. |

Edited by: DiuxDium on 30/04/2007 00:35:02 Blaster Ranis can kill.
Any cruiser without a combination of these.
Medium drones + web. Warrior II's if you're slow (and you will be in a taranis) Nos. Web + Semi-Decent gunnery skills.
And anything below that. In essence though, you need to avoid. Drones\Web\Nos. Something every decent PvP ship is going to have at least one of.
e; a top end neutron gank fit ranis belts out something a bit under 300dps. That is in no way enough to kill a battleship. Unless said battleship is fit with SAR II's and Salvagers for all his highs...and mining drones. -------------

Stabber vs taranis? No web, no drones, no nos :) I'll leave up to you to figure out how ^^
Also. Taranis with void, maxed out gunnery skills, 2 damage mods and t2 neutrons does about 270 dps including 2 hobgoblin II's. In reality, you won't have maxed gunnery and probably just one damage mod. And not sure how likely that you will be using void + no maxed drone skills.
Generally you will be doing about 200dps, less without void ammo. The general rule is: Take gallente fanboi DPS, multiply by 0.7 to get the real number ;)

A nice small gang full of Ints and AFs is fun, though. And can hit MUCH bigger targets easily.

What was pretty much said so far was, a ranis can take anything from frig to BC as long as it has no guns, webs, drones or nos. And the pilot is afk. In an asteroid belt. With no rats around him. In an empty/non-hub system. And without a passive tank.
You guys are asking for unarmed afk players where there are no sentries. Expect a taranis to kill a good frigate pilot and maybe a mediocre skilled cruiser pilot. ---------------- I love how most people tend to quote themselves on the EvE Online forums. Its kind of ridiculous. -Angus McLean |

Hrmm well being able to take out frigs/intys/some cruisers.
How about AF's?
Ya wondering solo just to get an idea what to engage while waiting for backup. I don't fly solo much but its always nice to know a ship inside and out.

Some AFs, yeah. But other AFs will fit for taking down interceptors, and they may break you.

Sniper BS that don't have nos/web are cake. For that matter, pretty much any ship that's bigger and slower than you and doesn't have a nos/web.

MWD straight away from them to drop transversal low enough that barrage-fit T2 ACs shred them?
