Last night (EVE 2007.04.29 02:27) a small group of LV pilots where in QBZO-R looking for a little PVP action when our scout noticed a large group of neutrals (Infinitus Odium, Mortis Angelus, Anarchy Empire) in the next system about to jump in to us. Because of the size and fire power of the incoming gang our FC ordered us off the gate and to fall back. Upon falling back I noticed a small gang of COW pilots warping to the gate so I yelled (typed) in local to the COW pilots to ôwarp offö and that there were ôincoming hostilesö. At this point all of our pilots got out but one of our guys noticed that the COW pilots warped right into the hostile gang. Concerned for their (COW) safety, our FC said "Fu~k it, if we die, we die helping our friends". So he ordered us back to the gate to support COW. Upon arriving, we were immediately pawned by the neutrals and some COW pilots. Now I don't mind losing ships and mods because of battle, but losing then because you were betrayed by friends (or at least ppl I thought were my friends) is just mind blowing.
To the COW pilots, of which some of you I have flown with while in -V-, why did you shoot at us and why didn't you at least give us heads up in local that you were ok? Also, if we are red to you now why didnÆt you at least inform us of this so we could change our settings?

I'm not trying to perform diplomacy. IÆm not the one who shot at a supposed friend. All I want is some answers to simple questions which I think I have a right to ask. I would like to hear from someone (COW) who was there and why this happened. ItÆs simple, either it was a big mistake and ppl can explain what happened or this is COW's habitude and now I know. The reason I posted my questions on the EVE forum is because effective this morning my corp isn't in LV anymore so I couldn't post/warn LV pilots on the LV website/alliance chat. Also, some corps have left LV and they still have COW set to blue so I wanted them to be aware of this incident. Additionally, if this is a practice of COW pilots then others should know that blue with COW doesn't necessary mean blue.
Oh yeah, as for CA pilots and other coalition yahoos who think that their input matters, it doesnÆt. This post has nothing to do with you so please refrain from, well, making yourselves look oxygen deficient.

no cow pilots according to the killmails shot any LV pilots, the alektrophobia (or how it is spelled) guy, got obliterated by the cow guys aswell
