Hi there,
I have been on a 8 year break from Eve, returned about a month ago, and have been roaming around empire trying to figure out some of the changes that has happened over the years. Feeling like I am slowly starting to get the hang of things again, I am looking at joining a nul sec corp over the next week or so.
First a bit about me:
- Will be bringing 2 characted, this on (57M SP (can fly most ships, but stronger in Caldari, up to Dreadnaughts), and my alt after a couple of weeks with about 51M SP - training up a 2nd alt to remain in emipre.)
- 40 years old, married with kids, so need a relaxed corp where I can do anything, and which understand I might have to log off with no warning (or even go AFK at stupid locations at stupid times).
- Expat in the Middle East, working shifts, so playing time varies, but mostly online 3-4 hours before downtime and European time.
- Have a production alt in empire that keeps me self-funded.
- Had an awesome collection of faction ships 8 years ago, seems like my collection is only 'meh' right now, so looking to expand that.
- Used to be based out of null sec for a couple of years, so have a basic understanding of life there.
What I am looking for:
- Medium sized established null sec corp - preferrrably in a larger alliance so I can go to 'safe' areas during periods where I have limited time to play and just want to log on for 30 minutes or an hour to do some quick ratting or exploring.
- Mature members who understand that RL comes first
- A variety of playing options (sometimes I want to blob, sometimes small roaming gangs, sometimes ratting, exploring, (I have never tried PI so want to learn that as well), access to wormholes (went to my first one just 3 days ago). I might even do some mining sometimes when I am watching the kids (and trying to teach my 4 year old how to mine to make ISKs for me).
- An active forum (I have a lot of quiet time at work, so even if I cannot play EVE at least I can have some fun on the forums.
- A corp that understand that a 12 year old character is still a noob, since I had such a long break and trying to learn again.
- A strong core of players who are regularly on so I can actually get to know and make friends with some of the corp members.
There if probably a lot more I am looking for, but this is what I can think of right now, if you have a corp that might be interested in me, please let me know.
