Was curious as to what the community plays when they our taking a break from Eve or waiting for that learning skill to complete so they can move on.
Me, personally, I currently play BF2142 when I am not in space doing what I do but always keep an eye out for other games and MMOs that I may try out. I am watching for Tabula Rasa as I am always about Sci-Fi MMOs. Too bad SWG fell as it did. Any SWG players here that still play it? Well a lot of questions but oh well just speaking the mind.

What does Tabula Rasa offer that hasn't already been done to death? From the looks of things, nothing.
Myself, AoC and WAR would be my coming distractions, if I need any.

Up until recently the only other MMO I played was Auto Assault.
I have just started playing Everquest 2 though, fond memories of EQ have made me want to see what it's like.
I can really really highly reccomend AA though if you like blowing things up and ground zero is great.

AA is great fun in small doses .
TBH I find 1 MMO is enough though, I prefer like you said 2142.

I futz around with Shattered Galaxy sometimes, but other than that I don't think there's any serious backup MMO for me.

I've been playing a lot of CoD2 and Day of Defeat: Source recently (when not playing EVE). I'm totally crap at CS: Source and usually die a painful and embarrassing death within seconds of the round starting (usually straight after I've fumbled about to buy weapons and ammo). So I gave up on it. DoD: Source is much more entertaining and I don't understand why more people don't play it.
