if you mean this lovely message "The specified proxy or server node (1000207) is dead" that I get whenever I log in, or try to join a channel (such as Help), then, um, that's all I know about the issue. Any idea what's going on, or a general timeframe it may be fixed in?

Is this to do with:
The specified proxy or server node (1000207) is dead
?
Local seems to show fine, but other channels are dead for me, while some players can get their chat windows fine.

OK summarizing:
No chat windows could be opened besides local.
It's not possible to open or joing gangs.
For me people and places loads, but it doesn't show buddies and bookmarks.
Evemail seems to work as it should.
edit: no wait, i just crashed people and places too. it seems to try to load corpmembers but fails. now it doesn't load anything anymore.

Yup, no corp ch, no alliance ch, in fact... no channels except for local, bookmarks all gone, and i've got a mail saying the insurance on a ship that exploded months ago has expired, yay bugs!

I have some issues here.... Got the "The specified proxy or server node (1000202) is dead" message.... the chat seems not working (no corp chan, etc...), Mission details causes the same problem "The specified proxy..."
Tested 1 minute ago ;)

How long until it is fixed? I guess those new QA blogs really meant nothing. You do know Q & A means Quality and Assurance right? I get neither of those when I think of CCP and patches/updates/changes.

it happened to me when i tried to join a gang, and then i logged off and back to find like 40 boxes both saying:
INVALID PACKET DESTINATION
followed by:
The specified proxy or server node (1000207) is dead
And with this there are no chat channels, just local.
And a lot of boxes to close!
Damn :(

Just giving people a heads up, I was getting a packet loss error, just dismissed it and continued playing. I did a podjump after checking my SP (19.8m) and my clone grade (Nu, 19.9m SP). I completed the podjump, then noticed I lost half of my Racial Battleship V skill I immediately checked my evemails and they did not indicate my clone was inadaquate for the jump (hell I had checked it myself). I have filed a petition and will hopefully get those skillpoints back (over 1.3m worth).
