what is common ores and what is rare some lasers work good on commmon but bad on rare so it would be good to know what ores are classed as common and what ores are classed rare ^^

i have that guide but he dosent say what ores are classed at rare and common =(

Generally speaking common and rare refers to minerals that come from ores (ores classed by if they contain rares). 'Rare' refers to stuff that you can only easily get in .0 (zyd, mega, morphite), and common refers to everything else.

oki thanks that means that basicly i can use the lasers for common as long as i am not in o.o and when i go there i put on rare laser =P that is if i ever get there ^^

You can use regular mining lasers on everything but Mercoxit, which is what produces morphite. You need those deep core thingies for that. Also FWIW a few lowsec rares yield a bit of zydrine these days, but its not a significant amount.

Four classes of mineral that define the commonality of ore
Common (Obtainable Everywhere)
Tritainium,
Pyerite,
Higher Common (Obtainable in most locations reasonably easy to obtain)
Mexallon,
Isogen
Lesser Common (Obtainable in alot of Lowsec to varying degrees)
Nocxium (Also obtainable in high sec but in small quantities)
Zydine
Uncommon (Obtainable only in 0.0)
Megacyte
Morphite
