Is there much of a market for moving Ore BPOs and reselling them for 100m-200m markup?

A small one at least. I know a few folk, myself included who wouldnt mind paying such a markup to save ourselves the trouble of running the BPOs out of 0.0 ourselves.
The only real problem of course is the price of the BPOs in general. I for one, for example dont have huge sums of money sitting around for such purchases. The only thing I can really suggest is try running some out, put a good markup on em in say.. jita or something and see how they sell.

Lately there have been a ton of people doing this with Covetors. I've seen 1-2 on contracts at all times for the past month for 2.1 to 2.3 mil.

i had doing that in mind myself until someone posted about it here. about 24h later the empire supply had tenfolded.
maybe it has settled a bit and the quick-buck-makers have had enough fun during hulk invention take-off.
but hey... it's not like the NPC price will drop, so it's a secure asset

Lots of ppl were buying them becouse of Hulk invention mania. BPC price went from 2M per to up to 6M per run, now its about 5M per run.
But I think there is too many ppl importing them right now, so maybe wait a bit...

Threads like these make me realize how much more I still have to learn about this game, especially lowsec and 0.0.
I was under the impression that all ship BPO's where available in highsec offered by NPC's. So the mining barges are only available in 0.0 NPC stations? That's about right?
And does anyone know a thread or a link to a website with some information on where different things are offered by NPC stations? I'd like to find out exactly which things aren't available in highsec that are only offered in 0.0 or lowsec, just like this covetor BPO. Not to find tradable items, just for my overview of the game so I can get a better understanding why certain things are only available in 0.0 for example.
I keep my mind open for everything...
but I don't believe anything. |

Yes, ORE ship BPOs are sold only in two stations in Outer Ring.
You can see who is selling BPOs in Item Database, just browse the BPO and lick NPC Market - that will reveal you which corporations are selling the BPO.
