My rupture just got blown up while I was afk (very stupid I know). Now I wa wondering what u guys think: what would be best for solo+group pvp a tech 2 fitted jaguar/wolf or a tech 1 fitted stabber/rupture. Or maybe go for an interceptor wich I can also fit with Tech2 modules. I have been away from the game a while, thats why I ask.
Thx

imho cruisers are always better, even t1 over t2 frigs, as for them, rupture for killing lone targets fast, stabber for trying to bite and run if its too much
and yes i know i make a lot of sense...

4* 220mm 2 (barrage, emp, phased plasma) 2* assault 2 (thermal, other types in cargohold)
1* y-t8 mwd 1* warp dis 2 1* large shieldextender 2
1* inertia stab (named or T2) 1* overdrive (named or T2) 1* damagecontrol 2 or gyro 2 or nanofiber 2.
1* warrior 2
Im pretty sure 220mm 2 + assault 2 will fit, but if not use 4* dual 180mm 2
Fitting a AF (read T2 crap) with T2 is normal offcourse. But fitting a good T1 cruiser with T2 stuff, will give it the same pricetag as a AF, but far better performance. _________________________________________________ Breetime

Cookie cutter setups ftw I quite like a single ecm drone too actually, so you can orbit much more powerful targets for a long time, waiting for your cycle, then when target lock breaks dart in for 18 seconds or so of pure dps.

Edited by: ElMartino on 05/05/2007 11:16:08 Thx for ur replies so far. I have been abroad for 3 days so I couldnt reply back earlier. What about a Stabber with 200mm T2 and barrage to try to orbit outside nos/web range? Im training for T2 medium AC atm but that will take one or 2 weeks. As far as I see I miss the fire rate bonus from the stabber, butwith almost all the other gunery stuff (sharpshooter etc) at rank 4 my small AC2 can do some good dmg.

You will not get any bonus for fitting 200's ACs (small ACs) and you will not going to do any good Dmg out of even medium NOS range (12km)..it's not worth the effort... --

Ur right. I made a mistake here. I had AC 200mmT2 on my wolf with the fall off bonus. I forgot the stabber hasnt got the wolf bonus offcourse.
