Discription: Logistic drones when put on a non-gang/corp/ hostile target are considered a hostile action.
Steps:
1. Have the skills to use logistic drones, small shield/armor/energy xporter drones work fine.
2. Enter space with another player, any ship is fine that has a drone bay 5m3.
3. Player A ( with logistic drone ) targets player B and deploys the drone.
4. Player A then orders the "engage target" command for the drone.
5. ---> The hostile warning pops up asking the player if he is sure he wants to issue this command as it is a hostile action.
Expected Results: Since the logistic drones do not attack ( shield, armor or energy xporters atleast ) and only aid the targeted ship it should not be considered a hostile action.
The GM from the petition asked that I report this finding. When waiting for my corp mates, and being a semi minner, I oftern usse my support ship to run the roid belts in whatever system and repair/regen the barges and starting minners. My high slot xporters work fine, but the logistic drones cannot be used as the warning says I will get smoked.

the point of the warning is that if the one that u are aiding with logistics drones does anything to get criminal flagged u will to since u are then aiding him

The other problem is that you might be useing what you think are energy transfer logistics drones...which as far as I can tell don't exisit...so you are prolly useing a energy neutralizer, which trying to use that on a non-corp ship in sec space would get you in a pod

Is it possible to use logistics drones on yourself?
ie: i fly a mission solo. in my dronebay i have 5 small shield transporting drones.
When i launch them, will they automatically start to boost my shield? As i cant target myself (i think :o), is there a special option under rightclick "engage target" <"target self"> "return and orbit" ....etc :)
Bottomline: Logistic drones - usefull for solo play?

Nope but I suppose in the patch when they allow drones to assist a target you can setup armor repair drones on yourself if someone targets you
