From my friend in MM, this is what I got:
MM seiging POS, MC jumps in double numbers capitals. MM rather sensibly attempts to disengage, losing 6 maybe 7 caps in the process and killing one.
MM battleship fleet takes heavy losses to fighters+ MC/friends support+the pos.
That should be fairly accurate. Well played MC, a nicely-laid trap to be sure.

Where were you at the start of this war when northern alts with corp names like æcentral ineleganceÆ or æsomething newsÆ or æanti BoB/BoDÆ were posting daily battle reports proclaiming how the coalition train had no breaks? You had no problems with that, did you? So before throwing stones in your glass house, clean up your house, or better yet, stay out of it, since you were not involved.
As for MM and MC, both are one of the classiest alliances around and both are having fun. Most likely, thatÆs what matters to them the most. Should be a fun weekend.

First and foremost, Fountain is a DEATH TRAP!!! I tried to warn D2 when they first moved in, but sadly they didn't listen .
Its like one of those graveyards that elephants go to when they are ready die. The only creatures that can survive there are the rats nibble on their bones.

Xelas had been taking a POS spanking all week. We were baiting our POS in anticipation of hurting Morsus Mihi cap fleet. We lost 3 large and 2 medium POS. I want to thank Xelas Corps Nemesis, Bombshell Cartell and Shadownett for their sacrifices. If one dread popped it was all paid back.
We saw our chance when the IITI POS came out of reinforced at 21:30 evetime on a Friday night. This was a good time to get enough people online for a suitable defence. 50 man Xelas gang ready in PNQY.
Killing the MM Nyx was a primary target. Many Allied Alliances wanted their piece of the MM pie. And arrangements were made.
2 MM support fleets inc Shamis's ppl roamed. One 30 man gang jumped into C-C, they warped to a safe. Goody goody, we anticipated. We had 5 ppl in system. Koth Fluf then lit his Cyno 250km above the target POS..... anticipation was at boiling point... Caps jump in.... hostile caps fly towards POS??? wtf??? summant up??? We all hold.
They jump out.... FFS WTF??? they return to Hophib dock and many log. Bollx no... can't be all this prep and they smell a rat? Time passed... many people getting agitated with no pew pew for a Friday night. I urge patience and then thank those involved for their patience... At this time a 30 man Fatal gang reach us and I order half our fleet to dock and log off in PNQ but remain on TS... 15 mins pass.... 30 mins pass.... Shortly after MM support fleets join and attack the FATAL gang in 9-V. I order logon and jump next door and support Fatal. MM fleet clears out.
I had ordered our carriers into the POS now and start repping the shields. Very soon after, MM forward scout jumps into C-C in his Arazu? Wow!!... every one ready themselves... full MM support fleet jumps in and camps gate. All at optimals and rotating. By this time I had ordered our support 1 jump out by the back door. Axe support fleet en route.
In Hophib, low and behold we discovered that MM has TWO Nyx that are shared between 4 pilots and their dread pilots are loggin in again and mustering. I think it was 10 dreads and 3 carriers we counted plus the 2 Nyx.
Anticipation growing... yes Koth lights his field again at 250km.. we sit tight... they jump in and warp to POS... this time they engage and Klaa and Zedone are in their Nyx's.
They go to siege... R0ot volunteers to suicide his falcon, just in time (thank f00k as my new rig fitted Arazu cost me 300m). He pops his cyno and is immediately locked by all and sundry... massive Mercenary Co-alition jump in... all that lovely blue... R0ot makes the ultimate sacrifice...
At that point I lag lock but TS is still running. MM call their support Fleet to the POS... I then order Xelas jump in (bump Zedones Nyx shoot him to f00k) and Fatal and Axe gangs into C-C as soon as they get there. My screen was locked but TS's calling targets- first MM dread goes down....
I was lagged out no fun... (mental note- even tho 160 in system max-still get node reinforced)
In the end MM lost 3 dreads and 3 carriers and the bulk of their support. MC lost a Revelation. We salute the downed pilot.
We thank Mercenary Co-alition ( Seleene, Mynas and Dol), Axe (DeathGrip, Steelrat and Pilk), Fatal (USS Omaha), Corelum (Joshua Foirtran) and Aftermath (Aelena Thraant) for supporting us in this Op.
Losses were 1 Revelation and 12 support that are known.

NOt sure what happend, but at the end there was over 50 fighters MM left on the field for us to gather up as well. I am sure some from lost ships, but I think they jumped out in haste and forgot to recall them

Who cares what you like or donÆt like. This is not a single person game. When people have something to say, they are in title to say it, with main or alt. Which character they post with is non of your business. So unless you are going to pay my subscription, I will post with whomever I want as long as CCP allows it. Very nice writeup. I wonder when folks will learn that Fountain is the Coalition Capital Ship Graveyard. You guys just lost 10bil+ in cap ships shooting some Xelas mining pos's and wasting time all week while you could be in NOL-. Gotta give props for bringing it though!

I mean seriuosly, some fights are won before the pilots engage, if the only engagements in EVE were equal battles and a test of who could hit f1-f8 the best, I don't think any of us would really be having fun. It was a well laid trap, as getting capitals to engage directly is almost impossible. And I don't see anyone whining tbh...except for Flinx and his news alt tirade, but I think we all share in that sentiment.

It was a good fight. We smelled a trap and went for it anyway hoping we would get a fight which we havent gotten in 3 weeks. We thought MC had pulled out but were mistaken. Morsus Mihi vs 5 alliances makes for a good fight. All cap ships already replaced and ready to roll. Lag was terrible once all the fighters were launched and the rest of the support jumped in. Most of our support never loaded and was killed by the POS.
Nice trap and well played. Our losses could have been worse and more then half our caps escaped. Always good to fight MC. At least they bring it. I knew someone would come to save Xelas again, just didnt know who. Guess we know now. Dont expect us to get caught again!
