I read a book series called Peremiter Defense, an LitRPG genre series. As an old eve player back in 2013 it made me really wanna come back for some action. The more I read, the more im convinced the story is based on eve.
Anyone who can confirm?
Some striking similarities:
*There are sort of factions called the green house, orange hose, purple (or blue, don't remember) house etc
* All the mechanic in the universe like warp, beacons, gates, systems etc is striking similar.
* Tactics used in the story is very similar to tactics somewhat appliable to game
* There is a group of species called "the sworm" that are giant, betraying, cockroaches. (Now, this is the authors interpretation, not mine)
* the weapons and functionality on the ships has the same name as similar modules available in-game.
Is it just me or has anyone else read these books and recognised similarities?

I'm pretty sure there is a spelling error in "sworm", just sayin' .
