Lost internet connection and my fighter drones gone missing, not in the carrier drone bay , not at the POS where the carrier was before, not in the whole solar system (I have scanned it).
Any idea what is the solution other than petitioning?
Thanks in advance.

same thing happend to me when we had all those server crashes last week.
the fighters were not on directional scanner, nor were they found using a scanner probe. My first petition told me that they are still in system, so i made a new petition say they werent. The 2nd petition, i received a bookmark location of where they were at, and when i went to system, the fighters were back on directional scanner. long story short, you might have to petition to get your fighters back into the system.

I doubt it, the local was friendly, only carrier was mine. I was offline for 2 minutes. Considering that they are 5000 m3 each I would be suprised if someone managed to pick up 11 of them in that timeframe.
As for scanning them down, I can try deep space observators but whats the point if they aint on the directional scan at any given point in the system?

Edited by: Shumanus on 06/05/2007 00:41:19 Well, apprently I have found a new way to make deep space safespots. All 11 of my drones are scattered in a 200 AU diameter sphere around the solar system.
Considering that size of the system is like 30 AU and the drones where at a POS when I lost connection I would love to know how they ended up over 100 AU from that spot in every possible direction.

Interesting, how did you manage to find them 200AU away ? or pick them up on directional?

The post-patch observator deep space probes have 1000 AU range....
