I have recently reactivated an account thats been dormant for a while...
I installed the client on this New PC which I've built recently.. Game says V 3.14.31460
BFG Nvidia GTS 8800 650mb
Asus Board
AMD 64 x2 3800+
Onboard audio
Netgear PCI 56mb Wireless G adaptor (transfered over from old PC)
Netgear Wireless N Router next room over (what can I say it was free why not use it?)
Software wise im using Windows Vista Home Prem., Windows Live One Care (firewall off) Windows Firewall (allowed "Play Eve" but its off anyways)
Im no newcomer to vista problems and I know most problems can be solved by telling it to run the program as Administrator but it still doesn't seem to work.
Well problem is I have installed the game and every time I go to run it, the game will come up to the login screen but its like it cannot connect to the server
Tranquility is (Status: Unkown) and so is the Test Server
I know that means either the server is down for maintenance or my computer just cannot connect. But I've gone through allowing Eve to bypass the firewalls, I've turned the firewalls off, I've set Eve as run as admin, I've even gone so far as to uninstall and reinstall.
so now I'm asking for assistance cause apparently I'm missing something ....Help?

Don't everyone crowd me all at once now, it takes time to soak up all this information you're giving me 
Anyways instead of waiting for an answer I went ahead and un-installed Windows Live One Care just to see if it was doing it, and the game works now.
Now I'm going to try and reinstall Live One Care to see if I can get both to work... if not , To whom it may concern... please find a fix for both to work on the same computer.

I've been having a nightmare logging in for a few days now. its happening on my work machine aswell so it's not just my PC, and i've been freezing at one of the loading screens (authenticating, entering game or loading station) and after 5-10 mins the game just disconects.
The server status is reporting correctly though. thishappened with 28k+ users on (i assumed it was the lag keeping me out) and this morning with 16k users, so its just eve being rubbish.
