I concur with Feroxes. Feri or ferii makes no sense whatsoever. If you want to stay true to Latin rules, then I believe the plural of "Ferox" should be "Feroces" (feh-roh-kess). Which is stupid. Stick to English rules and keep it simple :) --- High quality pics of ALL EVE ships! |

Feroces is the correct plural, but since it is an adjective and not a noun, flexing it makes no sense at all, especially since being consistent with latin grammar would also mean using the proper declensions, which would be nuts.

First, "FEROX" is a name (and it's derived from an adjective, you can guess which one).
So you have to apply the rules for name pluralization : Linkage So you're free to use whatever plural you like, even not use a plural form at all.
Mildly put, it's more of a guideline as a rule. All of the below are valid...
Several Ferox Some Feroxes A couple of Feroce My Feroces Many Feroxi and many other like the ones above... _ MySkills | Module/Rig stacknerfing explained |

No actually it's only 'bonuses' not boni. The word boni is a misnomer and does not exist in the English Dictionary, well not in mine anyway.
Bonus (pl - es) therefore bonuses

If we speak latin, we use latin pluralisation. Alas, we don't.
So, it takes the most common form.
For instance, up until a few years ago the accepted plural of virus was viri. However, given the extent of coverage of computer viruses, it changed to viruses.
It doesn't really matter imho. I think the only true pluralisation that still exists is radius to radii.

It's fungi though, not fungii. And funguses is accepted. Just like radiuses. Rhinoceros -> rhinoceri, hippopotamus -> hippopotami, octopus -> octopi are other examples of extant Latin forms. Regardless of what the gramatically correct plural form is, if you're on TS and get ganked by a group with multiple ferox(i/es/en) you should say feroxes. You don't want confusion on that subject.

If you want to strictly follow the Latin noun ending pattern then you would have to change its ending depending on the context of its use. If using the 3rd declension noun pattern, it would go like rex (king):
Nominative (subject): Feroces Accusative (object): Feroces Genetive (of): Ferocem Dative (to/for): Ferocibus Ablative (by/with/from): Ferocibus
