The topic of the second Live Dev Blog will be the backstory of EVE. We will have Gnauton - the boss of everything storyline related, Abraxas - writer extraordinaire of EVE Chronicles, Ginger - events expert and of course the lovely Eris Discordia - ruler of everything that is pink. These four will sit down and discuss the dark tone and gritty style of the backstory, the future of events and fiction and of course they will answer your questions!
Whether you're a role-player, non role-player or simply a big Eris Discordia fan, we promise that this is a Live Dev Blog you don't want to miss! Get something to drink, make yourself comfortable, make sure you have EVE Voice switched on and join the "Live Dev Chat" channel in game for a magical evening of backstory and pink in general!
To listen in you will need to be in the "Live Dev Blog" channel in-game and have EVE Voice activated on your account. Please head over to the Live Dev Blog - Rules and Guidelines thread on the forums to read more about the Live Dev Blogs.
You can also discuss the second Live Dev Blog in this forum thread.

I'd like to thank everyone that attended the Live Dev Blog and submitted questions. For those that were not able to attend, the blog itself will be available for download, most likely early next week. Highlights from the blog include our very own Eris stating, "Pew pew 4tw" and the slightly worrisome mention of a breeding program to save the declining Ginger race.

it was an intresting dev blog, still need to listen to what I recorded due to needing booze and chocolate, mmmmm.
Anhyoo's, I found it kinda painful as to how limited the view on missions were. Once revelations X is put into place when you guys will be able to put triggers into place, you can add soooo much to missions, thus making them way more dynamic.
One of the GM's seemed to grab the wrong end of the branch when it came to riddles, or more cerebral mission types. This was understabdable though due to the way the game currently works, the work GM's have done in the past and the current mindset of missions within CCP.
There was quite an intrest in backstory, which isn't really a main part of the eve conciousness atm, imho. Still, it will be nice to see this aspect of eve surface in a few years.
All in all it was a very enjoyable dev chat.
It was a pain in the arse to set up via vivox, it involved re-installing eve and sound drivers, but I got there eventually.
Kudos to all the devs involved, thanks for your time and looking forward to the next dev chat.
After all that I heard, i'm going to sign up to aurora as I love eve and really want to give something back whilst becomming more immersed in the game (immersanauts FTW!! ) (sp?).
/me looks forward to the next live dev chat.

It was interesting I must admit, up until the point that my natural urges to kill babies and set fire to cattle overcame me. At which point I had to head for the hills for fear of hurting any of my comrades.
Eve voice sounds impressively clear, for the small portion I heard.
