It broke my heart to see the blame for the entirety of Kyonoke's containment failure placed on Lord Vaari's shoulders not once but TWICE at the Inquest. These attributions to Lord Vaari came in the form of amendments to the voting matters at hand, and could not themselves be voted on independently. The first time this treacherous act was undertaken, its parent measure failed.
The next day, when the development of a successful treatment was finalized, the two measures at hand vere destruction of all infected sites and immediate use of the treatment. I suspect everyone knows how that went, and I don't wish to discuss that part of the matter. What was most troubling was that the parent measure authorizing this, the parent measure without which the whole mass of infected would be classed cluster wide...it was necessary to vote in agreement with the amendment that this was all Lord Vaari's fault.
It caused me physical pain to do this. What a rotten, petty thing to put in the mouths of unrelated parties--many of whom hold Lord Vaari dear!
I do not know for certain that it was CVA, but the assumption is reasonable. Regardless who was responsible, however, I would like Lord Vaari to know the circumstances of treachery at hand if anyone presumes to lay blame in earnest. And given such a background of treachery, I applaud Lord Vaari's decision to conduct himself independently and free of these shameful constraints, guided by God's light and his own judgement.

Actually, it was me. That was 100% pure Goonwaffe puppetmastery at work. And you still have no idea who my agents were, or what their end goal was! Know this, though: we were successful, beyond our wildest dreams.
Hey, maybe we're the ones Rook and Vulture were working for, who were testing out the weaponized speck. I mean, if we were, it'd stand to reason we wouldn't want the cure rushed out all over the place, right? That we'd call into question all of the safety procedures? That we'd have at least one visible agent like Mr. 15 there to demonstrate our good faith?
By the way, thanks for making sure the research on the counter-agent will all be published so we don't have to waste time experimenting to figure out what alterations need to be made.
But of course, I'm only kidding.
.... or am I?

It was authored by a CEO of a CVA corporation who had an axe to grind. I make no judgement on the right or wrong of it.
Sorry to rain on your parade Arrendis, but Lord Vaari and his words and actions through his long career have upset enough influencial people in Providence to have made this a thing.

That amendment's subsequently been given about as much attention as it seems to deserve. You pretty much have to talk to people who were actually there for the vote to even know it exists. |

So Vaari's loud, uneducated braying has finally gotten him into hot water with the powers-that-be among the Provibloc slavers, eh?

I assume you have Pandemic Horde's top leadership at your beck and call Mokk to be making such a generous offer, that or just playing to the fact PH already operates in the region as 'proof' of such an offer. I believe it might be easily translated to "If you are willing to change loyalty regularly, you can always have a large group of people behind you" I believe that even as an Archangel I'm far above the petty yelps of the Amarrian peasantry. I believe that if certain wastrels of the Amarr Bloc will not render aid in this matter, they should mind their manners and their tongues and let their better make the decision on where he wants to reside and with whom he'd prefer to ally himself with. My offer of support is genuine and without an agenda. One can believe as one likes. It does not make it any more true. That you think you would have any knowledge of action taken by those loyal to Amarr on this matter betrays your ignorance.
