As we had at least two big engagments and one smaller, I would like to give all of the rest, who didnt have the pleasure of being part of this slug fest to at least get an idea of what happend.
Disclaimer
I start with our enemie, CVA and friends, I had little to no contact with anyone of CVA, I knew them for being Amarrian roleplayers and that they are fighting against Ushra`kan for quiet some time now. But after these few engagments we had now, I salute you guys of CVA and friends for being and absolut pleasure to fight against and that you know how to PVP with loads of fun.
Second are the people we are currently allied with .From what ive seen most of these people are doing great, most of you know corps like Outbreak, TheEstablishemtn and ENJ for being class acts, and now I kind of had the pleasure of fighting with those people against other people that enjoy PVPing as much as I do. A few weeks ago I couldnt imange standing next to hera, wihtout gettin smartbombed or seeing outbreak blue.
Numbers, as most of you know, when you have round about 10 alliances involved things get tricky about numbers, kill and deaths and who belongs to who. So I try to keep those away and dont claim to be any accurate, some might be a guess, some are from our killboard. So dont troll/flame me when a numbers arent a 100% correct.
Those Battlereports are all written from a Soldiers perspective, I was at no time at any leaders channel, nor did I have any convo about what to do next. I was at those engagments just a drone of my Alliance and tried to made my job. So I hade no Idea what we are going to do next.
Politic, Ive no clue why we are in Providence, but Id guess someone asked for help and we looked for pew pew, perhaps there is something else in that, but ive no absolut clue.
Pics, yes i made quiet a few, and then I deleted them by accident, so when someone has pics, post it.

When we enterd system, our gang was round about 40 people, we had 5 ceptors, 1 dictor, 2 coverts and rest where battleship, for remote rep and fighter support at pos we brought in a Mothership. Once we where in, we killed a large bubble at a gate, then Outbreak jumped in while they did we coverd them from a sniper spot, we had intel that CVA was sieging a Pos at that time and that our scout was ready to give us a decent warp in. We regrouped and went in, this was the begining of a 90 Minute battle and the end of my pasta that had the pleasure of gettin roasted. Things began to become a bit of chaos. We had Capitals sitting at a pos, an enemie sniper fleet active but not in the grid, two friendlie gangs and our gang. The enemie probally had the benefit of being at the same voice, and the UK and friends gang was only giving out primaries due to Text chat. So we firstly engaged what was in range for us. But things heated up more and more as more enemie warped in, our gang drifted to far away from the good targets, so we did our first regroup, for that we choose a covops in the same grid, but 300 klicks away. At this point i personaly had the impression that lag was quiet ok, but then it turned into a real lag fest, i traveld more then a 1000km away from targets with my crow and modules didnt activate. My mouse slowly moved towards my WoW Icon, but then all of a sudden lag got better, and things went smooth again. Our gang was now all over the place, interceptors where close to enemie snipers, some bs where at enmie caps random ppl crashed, in short a 40 men gang was all over the system. So FC told battleships to regroup and get back in fully sorted. During that part ICs took care of support and called targets, when they had a point one something. They where supported by the Battleships that remained in the grid. This was for me personaly the best phase of the fight, We where not that much support, but I had the feeling that we where all over the place, as soon as someone of CVA was uncoverd or standing next to a can, he was as good as dead. The battlehips that remained at the grid, had trouble warping as fast as tacklers had things tackeld. Then CVA and friends regrouped offgrid. Another attemp to kill a cap was made, when CVA warped back in. This was a big mistake to warp to a spot where a wreck was, as soon as their battleships gang warped in, all our remaining support (4) warped in on that wreck, the dictor launched a bubble and our battleships where coming in, this was the event where the battle was deciced, as far as I can judge that. With being bubbled, and more and more blues warping to wrecks close, CVA lost a big chunk of their support fleet. The allied gang tried to kill capitals before, but CVA carries where doing a good job keeping the DreadNoughts alive, as soon as someone got called he got repped back up. But during this whole fight DreadNoughts didnt enter siege mode. As a few sniping attempts failed during the begining of the engament, FC decided that its time to get close, like real close. QUAKE TIME, so our Battleships regrouped and fighters where deployed from our Mothership, then we warped in right on tope of the enemie Caps, which where about to leave, but a well placed dictor bubble and luck helped a lot. The remaining three tacklers tried their best to get points on anythings that still sitting there, but at least one carrier jumped out and a hand full caps warped out. Then things became more calm, as most of the enemie support gang had been neutralized and a lot of blues shot a few remainign caps. Personaly for me that was the boring part, as those caps had no change of escaping and where obivouly going to die. After the last cap was killed i checked the grid, and what we have killed what quiet amazing, the grid looked like solid battle with loads of kills.

This battlereport is not such an epic one, as the battle was a lot smaller, we moved in with a pretty small gang 20 (mostly Battleships, 2 dictors), too see if we could get some fight out of anyone. As soon as we got to the gate, that leads into 9UY4-H the enemie got himself in position. Tacklers/dictors at the gate, Battleships 140 away, as we where here for a fight, we waited till the Battleships got to far from the gate and had to warp out and then jumped in to have a little time to get perhaps one or two frigs down with drones, When I jumped in the enemie BS gang warped right back in at a diffferent spot 140 klicks away. Then things started to run in the enemies favor, as we opend fire, the enemies warped out with ease as our dictors had probelems gettin there and our covert was too far away. So well things didnt went that well, we lost 10 bs killed 2. then a friendly UK gang cleared the field and we went home a few minutes later with a bloody nose and the taste of our own arrogance tasting bitter. This was well executed by CVA and all the kudos belong too you guys, juding afterwards it was not that smart and too arrogant to move in like that.

Tuesday
Location 9UY4-H some gate Shiptype û Crow Local 250 Time 19:10-23:12
Someone of the allied forces did bring an CVA pos into reinfoced mode, and it was about to come out of that, in the evening. As we have been there with battleships and it was in the middle of the week, with ppl getting to work and whatnot we choose the, frigs+fighter gang structur. As it was a needed change for some ppl, being stuck in battleships for quiet a while. Gang was about 40.
So when we jumped in CVA camped the gate with dictors and support at the gate, we jumped in and took care of that, as soon as we jumped in they brought in a sniping battleship gang, at 140 klicks. Me being quiet confident that i can approach the 140klicks, do my job and start gettin there, our gang mostly cleared the gate and was regrouping close to the gate but offgrid. So when i was there, the nightmare of a frig pilot happend û a nos domi. With my new computer I was witness of that red sucking stream, that made my crow slow, the enemie tacklers, get me relativ quick, I tried to float out of the enemie bs range, which worked ok, i had cap for MWDing, but didnt help that much, as soon as i turned that MWD on I became a moon, ppl where hitting me and my crow died. As I was that shocked I thought itll be a good idea to get the fast way home.
Interlude
So now i sat there in the middle of empire, no crow, no fitting, but willing to fight. So I pressed F10 and did what only some real despreate could do, ôset destination Jitaö 10 Jumps later, I ended up in something that was going to take 30 mins of lag, waiting, clicking, reloggin, backscreening, for gettin a bit of fitting. I salute all of you Jita station jockies, local spammers and markets alts that you make shooping such a joy ride.
/Interlude
So after an hour i was back in 9U, with a new shiny crow and was ready to get things rolling. During my trip to Jita, the Ev0ke gang, took care of some people not knowing the benefits of scouts. A few ppl stayed, at least one logged and we had fun, but was nothing special at that point. The allied forces where still gathering Caps to finish off the pos. Which took quiet a while, but as most of the time in live, the calm gets the girl. But our gang shrunk a bit. So with a bit of delay the pos assault started , while we had prety much nothing to do.
Then things started to get instresting again, with the allied caps hammering the pos, CVA tried to score cap kills by warping around in the grid, proablly their intesion also was to get Tom to use his Doomsday as they knew the fact he was in the system. We tried it with a remtoe cyno and dictor bubble, that didnt worked as that cyno and dictor died, the allied dreads hammerd the pos into structure, so with shields are gone. And modules where going offline. Tom got in, DDed 20ish enemies vessels and jumped out. With no more large guns to fear, and having nothing better to do, we got our frig gang, with fighter in. We got a few support vessels but nothing big, we started looting some of the cans. Then CVA and friends brought in their gang, pretty well, with an friendly gang being bubbeled. Focusing more on support, we chased most of them away, with fighters hammering enemie battleships. As CVA was not bubbeld they warped to a differnet postion, lossing a few poor souls being tackeld. During that engagment, Hera and Bissmark, Nyx Mothership vessels made their appreance on the field, being heavy tacklers. As the CVA gang regroued relativly quick, they choose a perfect position for their 2nd run, no cans close, but with a faction mwd and gang bonuses, disctance is something relativ. The last part of this battle happend with CVA showing their will to fight but being pretty much outnumberd, as they lost a good chunck of their vessels before.

its worth mentioning that while CVA were outnumbered for the final fight, they did have a lot more snipers than the allied gang (29 snipers on CVA side vs about 15 on the allied) and managed to kill roughly 20 kills, at least 13 of which were battleships.
Also, in addition to the two front line Nyx, there were at least 2x front line carriers and 5x more behind pos shields.
And for those being nasty about the report being unreadable. The OP is infact German, and his english seems good enough to me

Someone thought its needed, but its not like we are "YEAHH DOOMDAY" cause doomsday is a funkiller which we are aware off. Dunno how CVA thinks, but we could have used Tom more often, and we denided that to keep the fun alive.

Earlier on in the fight CVA snipers alone had one of our dreads tanks defeated and were driven off with fighters and support. The doomsday was activated when they tried a last ditch attempt and threw everything they could at the dread group.

most awesome? I play this game for fun. I think most of our foes have come to respect what we can do. CVA fights, Outbreak knows it, so do the Ev0ke folks and many many others. Some are here for grudges, some for whatever Amarr/mini thing they have, some are no doubt here because they can get a good clean fight.

Good report, all things aside.
I was at the first large battle, singling out enemy interceptors in my crow. I say this only to qualify my following comment, which is that despite all that has been thrown at CVA, they do fight on, and are still controlling 9UY access at certain parts of the day.
They may have temporarily lost field superiority, but CVA have one thing that their opponents, me included, will have to prove we can match: determination. Your sheer will to fight is pretty awe-inspiring.
For that, I salute you all.

Before this all started I had no idea who Ev0ke were other than some former D2 folks from the North.
After fighting them the last few days, I think Ev0ke are a class act. They are playing the game for the right reasons and have the right attitude in my opinion. No smack and they fight hard, can't ask for better enemies TBH.

CVA is Brilliant tactically and well organized
U'K is a rugg'd and ferocious enemy!

Props to both our allies (U'K and co) and CVA and allies for some great fun and a virtually smack free op (granted i wasn't there for that long, cyno in, blow up POS, cyno out), always good to get adrenaline pumping again. ________________________________

Yer, good writing. A pleasure flying with the part of you and as always a pleasure fighting against the rest of you. It's always fun to have people play the game for so many different reasons. I guess the determination as you state it comes from RP. If you care for your ship, you don't fight well. If you only care for your story then the ship doesn't matter.

Edited by: Eve Starpyre on 09/05/2007 20:28:32 This was a great write-up. I've been tooling around the 9UY area lately and wondered when things were going to come to a head around here.
I think the biggest news to come from this is 0utbreak's 'official' choosing of sides and abandoning their defining doctrine of having no positive standings. It was bound to happen sooner or later once they came south.
Nobody can stay out of politics in the south! And now they've been corrupted like the rest of us. :D
EDIT: ffs, it won't post with my main lol

Ehm, we have had allies at more points in our year long existence, we had Celestial Apocalypse on blue when we fought BoB in Fountain, we had YouWhat on blue when we pushed RISE out of Cloud Ring, we had MC to blue when we we're fighting in the north against D2.
Sometimes you get stuff bigger then 1 corp, and sometimes you just wanna pew pew and take some blue for granted for a small time.
