Laurentiu Balthazar Gallente Smoking Hillbillys The Volition Cult	Posted - 2007.05.10 10:50:00 - [1] my system : intel c2d 4300 (oc : 2.4), BFG 7600 nvidia video card, 2 gigs ram, hdd wd sata 250. my probleme: every time i launch drone/return to drone bay, eve online freeze for 1 sec. no matter graphics settings. i have problems ONLY in that situation. it is a known issue ? i have other problems with my computer ?

Same here. Launching and scooping lags 2-3 seconds.

It's a known issue, but unfortunately has no workarounds! -- Pocket drone carriers (tm) enthousiast ! Happy owner of a Vexor Navy Issue and few ishkurs. The Vexor Navy Issue is much more fun than the Myrmidon !

It's on your end mostly, and higher-end systems experience it less (but even bleeding-edge systems still sees a pause). The client-side part is loading the drones into the overview, which can take a second and seems to be mostly cpu dependent. The server-side part is pushing the drones' status, stats (velocity, etc.) to the client for the overview to load. Yes it's annoying. Sometimes it can be deadly to the drones and/or the ship. But it's quite a ways down on MY personal list of "things to fix on drones." ---------- The right to do something doesn't make doing it right.
