I have a costume idea already. I hope I'm not being overly clever, or obvious.

Judging by the times we have met your outfits have always been on point.

The idea is to dress as something representing the name of the ship, not to try and mimic the ship itself.

You realize you just invited people to show up wearing nothing but a lot of air and raindrops and say they're a Typhoon, Cyclone, Tempest, or Hurricane, right?

Besides, why not something that embodies what the ship is to you?

I'm looking forward to seeing what your bright idea is.

Proposed time/date: Saturday, 3rd June @ 1900 NEST

Location: The Elysion [Join "Elysion - Security" for access]

Theme: I would like to invite you all to indulge your spirit of creativity. Look hard at your hangars, pick your favourite of those ships which you fly. Think hard on the name and its meaning. Devise an outfit inspired by this. Then show up and renew old friendships or make new ones. Also acceptable would be an interpretation of what that ships embodies to you as its pilot.

I'd be willing to offer a prize for the most interesting interpretation but this would require both volunteers willing to judge and prizes to be offered. These should be something not purchasable by isk, we're all moderately successful space people, the only things we're truly likely to value are those we can't simply wave money at.

I'm open to suggestions, please contact me.

Outfits should avoid flirting too strongly with breaching common decency, I'd like as many as possible to feel comfortable in attending.

Last time I saw this person, she was behaving offensive, unreasonable and dishonorable. I'd call her anything but friendly, when she appeared last time. I haven't seen her since, but I would take extreme caution approaching Halcyon Ember.

I wouldn't be too sure about that, sunshine. Thinking about it, maybe I'm full of hot air and my costume will hurt your eyes. Then again, maybe you'll actually be enlightened by it. There's a whole spectrum of possible outcomes, really. If I fail, I'll go out with a bang. But I'll endeavor to be the light of the party. My outfit at the Leather&Lace themed party made me look like a rock star, and my costume will be a bit like that, only my favourite ship isn't a Rokh, but I'm hoping I'll look pretty hot regardless.*

*...Gods, I couldn't resist making more puns. I probably ruined the surprise element, so I might as well give some advise for those going to the party: you may want to bring sunglasses (although that advise goes for most parties, in my opinion)...or welding goggles.

I was already thinking about attending, but now I simply have to.

I'll be there if I can get up early enough! I have an idea of my costume already, plus I can reuse some old bits!

And if you do end up being full of hot air at the event, I would recommend that it isn't a flammable gas if you want to get anywhere near me.
