just got scammed by an enire alliance

I decided in the end to use 1B on a mercenary corp to help me because this guy was powerful. I trusted these giys because I had a friend in their alliance. long story short I'm now 2.8B poorer and on top of that they found me and killed me in the end. I write this so that all of you who read this can learn from my mistake. Never trust anyone in Eve. I was dumb. I was thinking to myself even before I paid the bastard tat this seem like a scam, but I knew of people who've hired them before so I did it. They fooled me hard. How could I do such a dumb thing? It all semmed so real. they gathered all the leaders within the alliance saying the wanned to join and started to doscuss tactics and stuff. I really tought it was gonna happen. But I was horribly wrong..

However, if you want I can file a complaint with the Board of Mercenaries of Eve Acquisitions and Notes and see if we can get these guys to return your isk. If they don't follow certain rules you are able to get most of it back (which in this case its obvious they did not). Most people don't know about the Board and usually just get scammed and lose everything they invested. I am one of their agents and I know this sounds bad after what you've been through, but we do charge a % of recovered fees in order to continue funding our operations in serving the greater Eve community. Usually it is 20% of the amount recovered, so in this case you will owe us 560m up front, but will be returned 2.24b isk. If they don't return the isk they are cut off from all mercenary contracts and business and will be blacklisted in Eve, so they have no choice honestly. We kindly refer to this as The Tax in Eve which keeps most merc's honest. We do apologize for this inconvenience and hope that your trust in mercenaries across New Eden is not damaged in anyway. Please contact me at your earliest convenience with names of all those involved to get started.

What did you do to get so much ISK (also sorry for you losing all that isk, really sucks)

Without us they would cease to exist as everyone knows the tax keeps them in their place.
